Incogniton proxy setup

Give each Incogniton profile its own residential or mobile IP, set in the profile's Proxy tab or kept in the Proxy Library and reused.

Works with
Residential and mobile proxies

Before you start

  • Incogniton 5 installed and signed in.
  • Your proxy login and password from the Residential or Mobile page of the dashboard, and traffic on that product: a login without traffic gets 402.
  • A clear plan: one profile per account you run, such as your own stores or a client's ad account you manage with their access, used within each platform's rules.

Copy the login and password from the Residential or Mobile page of the dashboard; the generator there also writes ready lines. Key syntax: targeting and sessions.

Pick the connection type

Incogniton's Connection type list offers HTTPS and SOCKS5, with no HTTP entry. Pair each type with its own port:

  • SOCKS5 with port 7001: our first choice.
  • HTTPS with port 7000. Incogniton's own walkthrough adds a plain HTTP proxy with this type and gets Connected, and Bulk add gives every line this type, so paste port 7000 lines there. If a profile does not load pages this way, switch that proxy to SOCKS5 and port 7001.

Add the proxy to one profile

  1. On the profile list, open the profile's ⋮ menu and select Edit, or start a new one with Create profile. Open the Proxy tab.
  2. Select Custom proxy and set Connection type to SOCKS5.
  3. In the dashboard generator choose Protocol SOCKS5, Session Sticky (same IP), Session time 60 min and the format host:port:user:pass, then copy one line.
  4. Paste the whole line into Proxy (ip:port). Incogniton splits it and fills Proxy username and Proxy password.
  5. Leave Rotating proxy off. It calls a provider's rotation URL; an AeonProxy line changes its IP through the session key instead.
  6. Select Check, wait for Connected, then Save.

Keep lines in the Proxy Library

  1. Open Proxy Library in the left menu, select + New proxy, then Bulk add at the bottom left of the form.
  2. Generate sticky port 7000 lines (Protocol HTTP, Session time 60 min) in the host:port:user:pass format and paste them one per line, or use Load from file.
  3. Choose a Group if you sort proxies by country, select Add to list, then Add.
  4. In each profile's Proxy tab choose Proxy Library → Select from Proxy Library and pick a line no other profile uses.

Check the proxy

Check in the Proxy tab and in the library reports Connected with the exit IP, country, time zone and ping. If the country looks wrong, switch Proxy provider from Main provider to Backup provider: it looks the IP up in another database. Then launch the profile and open the IP checker in it to see what a site gets.

For WebRTC, Incogniton recommends Altered under Advanced → Privacy & Network, with Fill WebRTC public IP based on the IP on, so the address WebRTC reports follows the proxy.

Rotating or sticky

Use sticky lines: on a rotating login one page can load from several addresses. A sticky line keeps one IP for every connection with its -sid- key for up to 60 minutes, then gets a new IP with the same targeting. No residential or mobile IP lasts for days, so keep the location steady: one key per profile, the same country, region or city on its line.

Questions

SOCKS5 with port 7001. HTTPS with port 7000 is the pair Bulk add needs; switch to SOCKS5 if a profile does not load pages with it. Never pair one type with the other protocol's port.

No. That toggle calls a provider's rotation link. With AeonProxy a sticky line changes its IP when its time ends, or at once if you change the -sid- key in the login.
