DICloak proxy setup
Save gateway lines under Proxies in DICloak, then attach them to profiles through Saved Proxies, one sticky line per profile.
- Protocols
- HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with proxy account and password
- UDP
- DICloak describes SOCKS5 as carrying TCP and UDP, but does not say which profile traffic uses UDP
- Where the setting is
- Proxies → Create Proxy, or Proxy settings in a profile
- Line format
host:port:login:passwordin Quick input- Works with
- Residential and mobile proxies
Before you start
- DICloak installed and signed in. Its batch tools need the Base, Plus or Share+ plan.
- Your proxy login and password from the Residential or Mobile page of the dashboard, with traffic on that product. Without traffic the gateway answers 402.
- Profiles for your own accounts, clients' ads accounts you manage with their access, or QA and testing, within each platform's rules.
- Host
gate.aeonproxy.com- Port (HTTP / HTTPS)
7000- Port (SOCKS5)
7001- Login
- your proxy login, with targeting keys if you need them:
LOGIN-cc-us-sid-abc123 - Password
- your proxy password
Copy the login and password from the Residential or Mobile page of the dashboard; the generator there also writes ready lines. Key syntax: targeting and sessions.
Add the proxy
- In DICloak, open Proxies in the left menu, click Create Proxy and keep Custom Proxy.
- Set Proxy Type to HTTP for port 7000 or SOCKS5 for port 7001. Not HTTPS: port 7000 does not answer a TLS handshake, so the check would hang.
- Paste
gate.aeonproxy.com:7000:LOGIN:PASSWORDinto Quick input and click the button that parses it. DICloak fills Proxy Host, Proxy Port, Proxy Account and Proxy Password; you can also type them. - Add a note in Remarks if you like, click Checking Proxy, then Confirm.
- Open Profiles, create or edit a profile, and under Proxy settings choose Saved Proxies and select the line.
Many profiles at once
In the dashboard generator, set Session to Sticky (same IP) and Session time to 60 min, generate one line per profile and show them in the host:port:user:pass Format. Each line has its own session key.
- On Proxies, click Batch Create, paste the lines and click outside the box. DICloak parses them into columns below: check them, click Check proxy, then Confirm. More → Batch import takes a file made from DICloak's Import Template instead.
- On Profiles, select the profiles and open More Actions → Edit Profile → Edit Proxy.
- Choose Saved Proxies and set Select proxy to Random: each profile gets a different unused line while there are more lines than profiles. Fixed puts one line on all of them.
Check the proxy
Checking Proxy shows the exit IP, its country or region and its time zone, as placed by the service chosen under IP Query Channels (IP2Location or IP-API). Batch Test re-checks the lines you select in the proxy list.
In the profile's fingerprint settings, let Time zone, Geolocation and Language follow the IP. For WebRTC, Forward sends it through the proxy and Disable turns it off; avoid Real, which uses the device's own data. Then open the profile and load the IP checker to see the IP, location and any WebRTC or DNS leak.
Rotating or sticky
Use sticky lines for profiles you sign in with: on a rotating login the site sees the address jump. Give each profile its own -sid- key and the same targeting every time:
gate.aeonproxy.com:7000:LOGIN-cc-us-st-texas-city-dallas-sid-dicloak01-ttl-60:PASSWORD
gate.aeonproxy.com:7000:LOGIN-cc-us-st-texas-city-dallas-sid-dicloak02-ttl-60:PASSWORDA sticky IP lasts at most 60 minutes (-ttl-60). Then the same line gets a new IP targeted at Dallas, so the time zone and language still fit. No setting keeps one residential or mobile IP for days. Rotating lines suit profiles that never sign in.
If it does not work
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| Checking Proxy fails with 407 | The login, the password, or a targeting value outside the dashboard lists, such as a misspelled city. |
| 402 | No traffic left on that product, or the sub-user reached its limit. |
| The check hangs | Proxy Type is HTTPS. Set it to HTTP for port 7000. |
| Quick input fills the wrong fields | The line is in another order. Use host:port:login:password, or type the fields. |
| Two profiles show the same IP | They use the same line. Run Edit Proxy with Random and more lines than profiles. |
| The IP changes while the profile is open | The line has no -sid- key, or its sticky time ran out. |
| 502 | The exit failed. Retry: a rotating line takes another exit, a sticky one keeps its key. |
Questions
DICloak allows it, but those profiles would leave from the same IP, and DICloak's own help recommends a different proxy IP for each profile. Keep one login and give each profile its own -sid- key.
HTTP for port 7000 or SOCKS5 for port 7001. The dynamic types named after other proxy services are for accounts with those services.
