Dolphin Anty proxy setup

Dolphin Anty reads a whole proxy line, type prefix included, so a generated `http://` or `socks5://` line goes in as it is. Give each browser profile its own sticky line.

Protocols
HTTP, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 with login and password. Use HTTP (7000) or SOCKS5 (7001)
UDP
Not documented through the proxy; the WebRTC mode Without UDP blocks UDP outside it
Where the setting is
Create profile → New Proxy, the Proxy screen, or Change Proxy for several profiles
Line format
protocol://user:pass@host:port; host:port:user:pass and user:pass@host:port work too
Works with
Residential and mobile proxies

Before you start

  • Dolphin Anty installed and signed in. Keep separate profiles for your own accounts, for clients' ads accounts you manage with their access, or for QA and testing, within each platform's rules.
  • Your login and password from the Residential or Mobile page, with traffic left on that product.
  • Generated lines with Session Sticky, Session time 60 min, Protocol HTTP or SOCKS5 and Format protocol://user:pass@host:port. The prefix tells Dolphin the type.
Connection details
Host

Port (HTTP / HTTPS)
7000
Port (SOCKS5)

your proxy login, with targeting keys if you need them: LOGIN-cc-us-sid-abc123
Password
your proxy password

Copy the login and password from the Residential or Mobile page of the dashboard; the generator there also writes ready lines. Key syntax: targeting and sessions.

Add the proxy to a profile

  1. Click Create profile in the top right corner, or open a profile to edit it.
  2. In the proxy field choose New Proxy and paste a line: http://LOGIN-cc-de-st-bavaria-sid-dol01-ttl-60:[email protected]:7000. A SOCKS5 line starts with socks5:// and ends in :7001.
  3. Click the arrows at the right edge of the line. Dolphin tests the connection and shows the exit's geolocation and time zone.
  4. Leave Link to change IP empty, click Create profile, then Start.

To swap the line later, click the pencil by the Proxy column on the Browser Profiles screen. If the column is hidden, add it under Customize columns.

Many profiles at once

  • Proxy screen → Add Proxy saves a line for reuse in any profile's proxy field.
  • Mass import: click Download template, fill one row per profile with its own generated line in the proxy column, load the file with From file, click Check data, then Create profile.
  • Change Proxy (paid plans only): tick profiles and click Change Proxy in the action bar. Random hands out saved lines, only Working ones or all. Profiles on one line share its IP, so check the Proxy column afterwards.

Check the proxy

The arrows next to a line run Dolphin's check. A failed check shows red arrows on the profiles screen or a red Error status on the Proxy screen. When it passes, start the profile and open the IP checker for the IP, location, WebRTC and DNS results that sites get.

In the profile's settings, WebRTC on Altered puts the proxy's IP in WebRTC, and Without UDP turns off UDP that does not go through the proxy; Real would show your own IP. Leave time zone and geolocation on Auto, so they come from the proxy.

Rotating or sticky

Use sticky lines. On Auto, Dolphin takes the time zone and geolocation from the proxy's IP, and a rotating login (no -sid-) has another IP on the next connection, possibly in another region. Rotating lines are for short tests.

http://LOGIN-cc-de-st-bavaria-sid-dol01-ttl-60:[email protected]:7000 # profile 1
http://LOGIN-cc-de-st-bavaria-sid-dol02-ttl-60:[email protected]:7000 # profile 2

A sticky IP lasts at most 60 minutes; no residential or mobile IP stays for days. Then the line moves to a new IP in Bavaria. With the key and targeting unchanged, each session starts in the same Land and the Auto time zone stays right.

If it does not work

What you seeWhat to check
“Error checking connection to proxy” at StartTest the line in the proxy tester. If it fails there, check the login, password and keys (an unknown key gets 407); if it passes, Dolphin's guide suggests another network, such as your phone's mobile internet.
Red arrows on a line you just pastedFirst the prefix and port: http:// goes with 7000, socks5:// with 7001. socks4:// works on neither. Then the password.
One site never opens, others doThe site may be blocked by default (403, see the Acceptable Use Policy), or it refuses that exit. Change the session key to get another IP.
Sites load, then stop after a whileLook at the traffic left on the Residential or Mobile page (402 means none). A single 502 is a failed exit: reload.

Questions

Dolphin's help marks only the bulk Change Proxy action as paid. Adding a line while you create or edit a profile carries no such note.

No. The gateway speaks SOCKS5 on port 7001 and HTTP on port 7000, so start lines with socks5:// or http://.

Yes: Settings → Disable image loading covers all browser profiles of the team, new ones too. Pages then download less, and our traffic is counted in GB both ways.
