Teams
Settings → Teams is where you create teams and record invitations for colleagues. Invitations are not sent yet, so give colleagues sub-users for proxy access in the meantime.
- Where
- Settings → Teams, or Create team at the bottom of the sidebar
- Teams per account
- Up to 10
- Access levels
- Three, chosen per team
- Proxy access now
- Sub-users, and the API key for scripts
Invitations are not delivered yet. You can create a team and record an invite, but no email goes out and the colleague cannot join or open your account.
Create a team
- Open Settings → Teams and press Create team.
- Enter a Team name (for example “Growth team”), optionally an address under Invite by email, and pick an Access level.
- Press Create team. The team appears under Your teams with the Owner chip, and the invite below it marked Invited and pending.
The line under Your teams shows how many of your 10 teams exist. The send icon on an invite row only updates the invite's date, and the gear icon on a team has no settings behind it yet.
Access offers three levels: Generate proxies and view orders (the default), View only and Full access except billing. The level is saved with the team and the invite; it has no effect while nobody can join.
Give colleagues access now
- Proxy access: create a sub-user for each colleague or project. Each gets a login, a password and a GB limit, and never sees your dashboard.
- Scripts and integrations: the REST API works with the key in Settings → API. The key can spend the balance on traffic, so share it only with people you trust with that, and rotate it when someone leaves.
- Your password: keep it to yourself. Whoever has it controls the account, billing included.
Who may get access
Section 4 of the Terms of Service asks you to give team members sub-users instead of sharing a login. Sub-users, and teams once members can join, are for your own organization: giving proxy access to people outside it counts as resale, which the Terms allow only with our written consent.
Questions
