Buy traffic
Residential and mobile proxies are paid per GB from the balance. Traffic you buy never expires and works at once on the logins you already have.
- Where
- Add traffic on the Residential or Mobile page
- Volume
- 1 to 1000 GB per purchase, in whole GB
- Paid from
- The wallet balance
- Through the API
- Buy traffic, after a quote from Get a price
Before you start
- Money on the balance. The dialog shows your balance; top up first if it is short.
- The right product. Residential and mobile are separate pools with separate logins: GB bought on one cannot be used on the other.
Buy
- Open Residential or Mobile in the sidebar and press Add traffic at the top right. Buy on the Residential or Mobile card of the Overview opens the same dialog.
- Set the volume: drag the slider, press a quick pick (1, 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000) or type the number of GB. The tier grid under it marks the rate for that volume.
- Have a promo code? Type it in Promo code and press Apply.
- Check the summary: Balance, a discount line if one applies (
Promo −…%orLoyalty −…%) and Total. - Customers in the EU, the EEA and the UK see a checkbox: “I ask AeonProxy to start the service now…”. Buying needs it ticked. It also records that if you withdraw within 14 days, you pay for the part already used: see withdrawing from an order.
- Press Buy traffic. The GB joins the pool at once and the gauge at the top of the page grows. The order appears in My orders and its paid invoice in Invoices.
How the price works
- The rate of the tier your volume falls in applies to the whole purchase, not just to the GB above a tier boundary. The rates are on Pricing.
- A promo code and the loyalty discount never add up: the larger one applies. When your loyalty discount is equal or larger, the code is not used up, and the dialog says so under the total.
- The loyalty discount does not apply on the top volume tier, which already has the lowest rate.
- Need more than 1000 GB? Make several purchases; each one is priced on its own volume.
What the gauge shows
The top of the page reads “X of Y GB · traffic left · never expires”. Y is all the traffic on the product (bought, plus trial or bonus traffic), X is what is left. Traffic counts bytes in both directions. Several purchases share one pool: the line under the page title lists them, and My orders shows what is left on each, used oldest first. The lines you generated before keep working; there is nothing to regenerate.
If the purchase does not go through
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| “Not enough balance for this amount.” and a greyed button | Top up the wallet or pick less traffic. |
| “Tick the box to ask us to start the service now.” | Tick the EU / UK checkbox above the button. |
| “Code not found.” or “This promo code has run out.” | Check the spelling; the code may have expired or reached its last use. |
| “This code is for the first purchase only.” | The code works only on an account's first purchase. |
