v2rayN proxy setup

v2rayN is a desktop client for the Xray and sing-box cores. Add our gateway as a SOCKS server, then send the system proxy, or every app through Tun, to a residential or mobile IP.

Protocols
SOCKS5 and HTTP with user and password (Add [SOCKS], Add [HTTP])
UDP
Yes in Tun mode over SOCKS; the built-in routing sets block UDP port 443 (QUIC)
Where the setting is
Configuration menu: Add [SOCKS] or Import Share Links from clipboard
Works with
Residential and mobile proxies

Before you start

  • v2rayN 7.x from the project's GitHub releases (this guide follows 7.25).
  • Your proxy login and password from the Residential or Mobile page of the dashboard.
  • Administrator rights for Tun mode: on Windows use Restart as Administrator; on Linux v2rayN asks for the system sudo password.
Connection details
Host
gate.aeonproxy.com
Port (HTTP / HTTPS)
7000
Port (SOCKS5)
7001
Login
your proxy login, with targeting keys if you need them: LOGIN-cc-us-sid-abc123
Password
your proxy password

Copy the login and password from the Residential or Mobile page of the dashboard; the generator there also writes ready lines. Key syntax: targeting and sessions.

Add the proxy

  1. Open Configuration → Add [SOCKS].
  2. Alias (remarks): a name such as AeonProxy US. Address: gate.aeonproxy.com. Port: 7001.
  3. User(Optional): your login with keys, for example LOGIN-cc-us-sid-v2n01-ttl-30. Password(Optional): your password. Leave TLS and the transport settings empty: the gateway speaks plain SOCKS5. Confirm.
  4. Select the new entry and choose Set as active.
  5. Pick how traffic reaches it: System proxy → Set system proxy for browsers and apps that use the system proxy, or Enable Tun for every app, UDP included.
  6. Under Routing, choose the set whose name ends in (Global) to send everything except local addresses through the server. The default set sends some sites direct.

Or paste a share link. Copy this line with your login and password filled in, then Configuration → Import Share Links from clipboard:

socks5://LOGIN-cc-us-sid-v2n01-ttl-30:[email protected]:7001#AeonProxy-US

v2rayN also reads socks:// links, plain or in the base64 form it exports itself. HTTP entries have no share link: add them with Add [HTTP] and port 7000.

Check the proxy

Right-click the entry and run Test real delay: it sends a request through the server and shows the time, or an error if the login or address is wrong. Test Configurations UDP Delay checks UDP through it. Then open /ip-checker in the browser: the IP and country should be the exit's.

Rotating or sticky

The core opens one gateway connection per app connection, so with a rotating login a single browser tab can load from several IPs. For browsing and signed-in apps keep the sticky key from the example: 30 minutes on one exit (60 at most), then a new IP in the same country. Clone selected copies an entry; keep one per country or key and switch with Set as active.

UDP and QUIC

The system proxy carries TCP only, and browsers do not send QUIC through a proxy. With Enable Tun, the core forwards UDP to our SOCKS5 port with UDP ASSOCIATE, so calls and games leave from the exit too. The built-in routing sets drop UDP port 443, so browsers fall back to TCP; that is a v2rayN rule, not a gateway limit, and you can remove it in Routing Setting.

If it does not work

What you seeWhat to check
Test real delay failsAddress, port 7001 with SOCKS (7000 with HTTP), the login and password, a key that is not in the lists, or no traffic left.
The delay test passes, but /ip-checker shows your IPThe system proxy is not set, the browser ignores it, or the routing set sends the site direct.
Enable Tun does nothingv2rayN is not running with administrator rights.
It fails right after connectingTLS or a transport is set on the entry. Clear them.
Test real delay passes, but one site failsThe site may be blocked by default: mail ports 25, 465, 587 and 2525, .gov / .mil sites and some banking and ticketing sites (limits, Acceptable Use Policy).

Questions

SOCKS on port 7001. It carries UDP in Tun mode and can be imported from a share link. HTTP on 7000 works for TCP only.

v2rayN's own routing sets block UDP 443 so browsers use TCP. If an app needs it, remove that rule in Routing Setting; our SOCKS5 port relays the UDP.

Yes. In the generator on the Residential or Mobile page set Session to sticky, Protocol to SOCKS5 and Format to protocol://user:pass@host:port, then Generate proxies and Copy all. Each socks5://… line has its own session key; Import Share Links from clipboard adds them all at once.
