Accept a Dominica exit on its country code alone
One exit on -cc-dm stays for 30 minutes. The script opens a session, rejects any lookup whose country is not DM and names the network from the ASN.

Three currencies on one small island
Digicel’s plans are in XCD, and the EC dollar has been pegged at XCD 2.70 to the US dollar since 1976. Discover Dominica’s visitor notes quote 2.67 and say businesses also take US dollars, pounds and euros. A bare dollar sign needs checking: DOWASCO’s tariff prints only “$”, while Fort Young’s offers sit beside a US$500 deposit.
Tax changes with the product. VAT is 15%, and 10% on accommodation and diving, according to the Inland Revenue Division. Digicel’s prices include tax, Secret Bay’s rates do not, and the ferry sells in euros with an EC$89 departure tax paid on site. Store the currency and the tax treatment next to each price.
“Dominican” describes people from two countries, so datasets can mix them up, and parish names repeat: Saint Andrew exists in Dominica and in Grenada, Saint John in Dominica and in Antigua. English is the official language and many people speak Kwéyòl, so record the language of any text you keep.
No general data act, and the Telecommunications Act 2000
The University of the West Indies’ data protection office says that, as at February 2025, Dominica had not enacted comprehensive data protection legislation. On 5 November 2026 the government’s laws portal listed no Act with “data”, “personal” or “privacy” in its title. Sections 61 and 62 of the Telecommunications Act 2000 (Act 8 of 2000) keep messages and subscribers’ personal information confidential, and section 64 sets a fine of up to 15,000 dollars or up to a year in prison for breaches. Leave names and phone numbers out of what you store.
Section 29 requires a licence to run a telecommunications network or provide a telecommunications service, and section 51 applies that to private networks. The Act never uses the words VPN or proxy, and we found no rule that registers, licenses or bans customers who use one. The portal shows no Act with “computer” or “cyber” in its title, though it searches titles only, so an offence could sit inside another Act. Use with gambling sites is not supported.

Home exits sit on the networks households use: SAT and Flow first, with Digicel well behind. Mobile exits use Flow, Digicel and Epic, ECTEL’s licensed mobile operators, where the pool has them. You cannot pick one at login, since network keys are limited to the US, the UK and Germany.
Flow’s two networks span several islands: GeoLite puts one AS14813 IPv4 block in Dominica against 84 in Barbados. A lookup of addresses in that one block returned Woodford Hill in Dominica and Grenville in Grenada, each under a Saint Andrew parish. Accept an exit on its country field, DM, as the Python tab does.
For Dominica you choose between those two; the countries with static IPs are on the order page. Residential costs less and handles hotel rates, plan pages and search. At $0.50 more per GB, mobile suits pages built for phones, which made 45.73% of page views in October 2026.
