Ahrefs’ October 2026 list for the country, ranked by estimated search traffic, is mostly foreign. Of its 100 rows, 31 are sports sites, 19 addresses end in .fr and only one ends in .cg: congoedusoft.cg, in 98th place. besoccer.com is 5th, footmercato.net 10th, flashscore.fr 12th and lequipe.fr 18th. If you buy ads on French-language publishers, a Congolese IP shows what they serve to readers in the country.
Shopping in that list comes down to alibaba.com and amazon.fr. Local asking prices sit on CoinAfrique: on 5 November 2026 a 2009 Toyota Corolla in Brazzaville asked 1,900,000 CFA, and a commercial plot at Vindoulou, in Pointe-Noire, 22,000,000 CFA. The employment agency’s site, ACPE, held 3,804 offers that day.
StatCounter shows desktops ahead in October 2026, with 65.21% of page views against 34.02% for phones. Google took 96.08% of searches, and 99.31% on phones, while desktops gave Bing 10.87%. Android ran 81.05% of mobile traffic.
The 2023 census counted 6,142,180 residents, and the two big cities hold 57.59% of them. Logins set the country alone, -cc-cg; which departments and towns are on offer is listed in the dashboard generator.

Population: 2023 census of the national statistics institute, as printed by City Population. Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire lead, and where available exits also come from places such as Nkayi and Djambala (24,734). A lookup of 30 addresses on the four main networks (ipinfo.io, 5 November 2026, outside our gateway) printed Brazzaville for 17 and Pointe-Noire for 13. Check a town in our IP checker before you count on it, since databases differ.
APNIC Labs estimates each network separately, so the shares overlap. ARPCE’s mobile figures cover two operators, MTN and Airtel, and 99.3% of their subscribers were prepaid at the end of 2025.

APNIC Labs, 2 November 2026, over a 60-day window: 13 networks adding up to 121.63%. IPv6: its 30-day table to 3 November 2026. Mobile: ARPCE figures as reported by EcoMatin, as ARPCE’s own tables would not open; the split at the end of 2025 was 62.1% and 37.9% of 6.23 million. Congo Telecom announced 9,728 IPv4 addresses (merged, RIPEstat, 5 November 2026) against APNIC’s 147,226 users, about 15 per address. Starlink, Skylogic, Cloudflare, HostRoyale and the regulator’s own network are left out. Network keys belong to US, UK and German logins; here the ASN in a lookup tells you the line.
Cars, electronics, land and jobs by town, from Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire to Dolisie and Sibiti, priced in CFA with a delivery filter. Keep prices and towns, and drop seller contacts.
The employment agency’s board filters by department, and some ads state pay, such as 150,000 to 200,000 FCFA. Count openings by department and sector.
Canalbox asks 15,000 FCFA a month for 50 Mb/s and 45,000 for 200 Mb/s. Congo Telecom’s 15,000 buys 12 Mbps and its 45,000 buys 220 Mbps. Log any change by month.
Call, data, SMS and mix plans, and Box Ndako 5G at 15,000 FCFA a month. EcoMatin, citing ARPCE, reports that MTN cut on-net call tariffs by 45% in April 2026, so date what you store.
Les Dépêches de Brazzaville runs sport, economy and technology sections; Vox Congo adds video and replays. Check your own ads and how they appear.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonAS36924, the Canalbox network, is registered to GVA Cote d’Ivoire SAS; PeeringDB lists it as Canal+ Telecom Africa, formerly GVA. RIPEstat’s GeoLite view places 25,600 of its 226,048 announced IPv4 addresses in the Republic of the Congo, and the rest in eleven other countries, led by Gabon and Togo.
APNIC Labs, 30-day window to 3 November 2026. GeoLite data of 3 November 2026. In the lookup above, all 12 addresses from AS36924’s Congolese blocks printed country CG beside that company name.
Law No. 29-2019 of 10 October 2019 protects personal data. Article 2 reaches controllers, based in the country or elsewhere, that use processing means on its territory, leaving out means used only for transit. A separate law is meant to create its commission, and DLA Piper, in a chapter last modified on 4 February 2026, was not aware that it exists. Store prices and dates, without sellers’ names and numbers.
Law No. 27-2020 of 5 June 2020 punishes fraudulently accessing or staying in an information system (Articles 4 and 5) with six months to three years in prison, a fine of 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 CFA francs, or either.
In the French gazette text, neither that act, Law No. 26-2020 on cybersecurity nor Law No. 9-2009 on electronic communications names VPNs or proxies. They do regulate encryption and private networks in general. Article 28 of Law 26-2020 lists when using encryption tools is free; for a tool that keeps communications confidential, that is when its secret keys are managed by an approved body, on terms set by decree. Supplying or importing such tools needs a prior declaration (Article 30), and setting up an independent network for a closed group needs the regulator’s prior authorisation (Article 11 of Law 9-2009). Running such a network or service in the country without those papers, or using an encrypted tunnel or VPN there outside Article 28, is not a supported use.
Not legal advice. We found no decree or regulator decision applying these articles to a VPN or a proxy. Rulings on scraping from 2022 to 2026 are in our court-case guide.Join @aeonprox, link our bot and test residential or mobile proxies for 72 hours. No card needed.
It sends your traffic out through a Congolese line, so sites treat you as a visitor in the country. Use it to read CoinAfrique and ACPE, compare plan prices at MTN and Canalbox or follow local Google results in French. The DR Congo is a different country, and -cc-cg does not cover it.
No per-country count is published for the Republic of the Congo, so we print none. Home connections are in the pool, and the order page shows availability, mobile included.
The login chooses the country only. See what the dashboard generator offers below that, where available, and read the exit’s town in our IP checker. Place lists spell the second city as both Pointe-Noire and Pointe Noire, and the Python tab treats them as one.
The market has two mobile operators, MTN with 59.7% of subscribers and Airtel with 40.3% (ARPCE via EcoMatin, end of March 2026). Mobile exits use them where the pool has them, and the order page shows availability. On the home side, households on MTN, Canalbox, Congo Telecom and Airtel carry the exits, and a login cannot choose among them.
Canalbox’s network, AS36924, is registered to GVA Cote d’Ivoire SAS and spans twelve countries in GeoLite’s data. A Brazzaville line can print that name next to country CG. Judge the exit by the country field and treat the company name as a label.
Either can be bought here; the order page shows where static IPs are sold. Residential is cheaper and covers listings, plan prices and search. At $0.50 more per GB, mobile suits phone layouts, though phones made only 34.02% of page views in October 2026.
Residential starts at $3.49 per GB and falls to $1.69 on the largest tier; mobile goes from $3.99 to $2.19. In the countries the order page lists, an ISP IP costs $4.00 a month and a datacenter IP $2.00. The pricing page has each tier and the current free trial terms.
French is the official language, and the local sites we read use it, while Lingala and Kikongo are national languages. Prices appear in CFA francs (XAF), written 1 900 000 CFA or 150 000,00 FCFA. BEAC printed 655.957 to the euro on 5 November 2026.
The acts we read name neither proxies nor VPNs, and we found no decree applying them to one. Article 28 of Law 26-2020 frees the use of encryption tools only in listed cases, supplying them needs a declaration, and an independent network for a closed group needs prior authorisation. Fraudulent access is a crime under Law 27-2020, and personal data falls under Law 29-2019. Not legal advice.
A stranger’s machine can log or alter what passes through it, passwords included. Check who holds the address: AS37463, AS36924, AS37451 or AS37550 with country CG means a Congolese network, and a hosting company’s name means a rented server.
In the proxy settings of your browser extension, app or HTTP client, use host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, the username ap_a1b2c3-cc-cg and your password. With -sid-bzv01-time-3600 on the end of the username, one exit lasts an hour. SOCKS5 is in the docs.
