Search traffic from Cameroon runs heavily to French sites. In Ahrefs’ October 2026 list, ordered by estimated search traffic, footmercato.net is 8th, flashscore.fr 10th, lequipe.fr 12th and bfmtv.com 32nd, and amazon.fr, 53rd, is the only shop in the top 100. Local names start with supergooal.cm at 18th, football24.cm at 49th and actucameroun.com at 55th. A publisher in French can use a Cameroonian IP to see the page its readers there get.
Local commerce prices in CFA francs. On 3 November 2026 CoinAfrique showed a 2008 Suzuki Vitara in Douala at 4 700 000 CFA and a seven-room apartment to rent in the same city at 1 200 000 CFA, and its town filter ran to 72 places. MinaJobs’ counters gave Douala 8011 job ads and Yaoundé 6510, against 805 for Maroua.
Google answered 99.1% of mobile searches in October 2026, while Bing reached 11.94% on desktops (StatCounter). ART’s average for 2024 was 3.81 GB per mobile user per month, at 460 FCFA per GB. SERP proxies explains rank tracking on both engines.
BUCREP’s projection for 1 January 2025 is 29,442,300 people, with 3,816,500 in Douala and 3,762,900 in Yaoundé. The last completed census, in 2005, counted 17,463,836, and most town figures still date from it. Logins target the country with -cc-cm; the dashboard generator shows the regions and cities on offer.
Shares: each region’s part of the 2025 projection, computed by us. Towns: census of 2005. Both from BUCREP and INS, via citypopulation.de; region names as GeoNames prints them, French in brackets. Where available, exits also come from towns such as Buéa, Ngaoundéré, Maroua, Limbé and Kribi. A lookup of 15 addresses from these networks’ ranges on 3 November 2026, made directly and outside our pool, read Douala or Yaoundé every time, so confirm a smaller town in our IP checker first.
APNIC Labs gives Orange’s network 56.67% of Cameroonian users, MTN’s 47.82% and Camtel’s 8.71%; each is a separate estimate, so the column passes 100%. In ART’s report for 2024 Orange leads on lines and on revenue, with 50.08% of mobile revenue to MTN’s 47.26%, after MTN led in 2023 with 49.41%.

Each try opens a 30-minute session on -cc-cm, drops any exit whose lookup is not CM and compares the town in a plain form, so a missing accent cannot cause a false miss. Regions print in their English form.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonLaw No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 protects personal data. One legal news site, Droit Médias Finance, reports that its 18-month grace period ended on 23 June 2026; we have not seen that date in an official text. Processing needs prior authorisation from the Personal Data Protection Authority (article 19), and sending data abroad needs the same. Collect prices and counts, and leave sellers’ names and numbers out.
Article 58 of Law 2010/013 on electronic communications puts the supply, export, import or use of cryptography tied to transmitting information under prior declaration when it only authenticates a communication or protects message integrity, and under prior authorisation in all other cases. Cryptographic functions built into sector application software are exempt. Article 5 of the same law defines a virtual private network (réseau privé virtuel), a private network on public infrastructure whose data is protected by encryption or encapsulation, but article 58 does not name it, and no law we read mentions proxies. We read article 58 as able to reach an encrypted tunnel run from inside Cameroon, so such use is not supported on AeonProxy.
Section 65 of Law No. 2010/012 punishes unauthorised access to a network or information system with five to ten years in prison, a fine of 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 CFA francs, or both. Betting sites are not a supported use.
Not legal advice. Court decisions on scraping are collected in our 2026 case guide.Join @aeonprox, link our bot and test residential or mobile proxies for 72 hours. No card needed.
A Cameroon proxy sends your requests out through an address on a Cameroonian network such as Orange, MTN or Camtel, and sites reply as they do to a local visitor. People use one to read CoinAfrique and MinaJobs listings or to compare CFA prices at Glotelho and Carrefour. It also shows google.cm results in French and English.
6K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, and the figure changes as lines go on and offline. There is no separate count of mobile IPs. Mobile exits run on Orange, MTN and Camtel where the pool has them; see the order page for availability.
Not in the login, which sets the country, -cc-cm. The dashboard generator shows what regions and cities are on offer. Where a town matters, compare it without accents, as the Python tab does, and confirm it in our IP checker, because databases differ at city level.
Homes and phones on Orange, MTN and Camtel, the three networks with most Cameroonian users in APNIC’s estimates, and on ISPs such as Creolink, Swecom and Matrix. Network keys exist only for US, UK and German logins, so read the ASN from a lookup to see which one you have.
Orange, MTN and Camtel’s Blue brand, where the pool has them; the order page shows availability. ART lists Viettel Cameroun, which trades as Nexttel, as a licensed operator that has sent no data since 2022 and calls it absent from the market.
Those two are the options for Cameroon, and the order page lists the countries with static IPs. Use residential for listings, prices and search results. Mobile costs $0.50 more per GB; choose it for what phones see, in apps or on mobile pages, and for your own accounts within each platform’s rules.
On the pricing page: residential from $3.49 per GB down to $1.69 at volume, mobile from $3.99 down to $2.19. ISP IPs at $4.00 and datacenter IPs at $2.00 per IP per month cover the countries on the order page. There is a free trial, and the same page has its current terms.
No law we read mentions proxies. Law 2010/013 defines a virtual private network, and its article 58 requires prior declaration or authorisation for cryptography used to transmit information; we read that as able to cover an encrypted tunnel run from inside Cameroon, and that use is not supported. Unauthorised access is an offence under section 65 of Law No. 2010/012, and personal data falls under Law No. 2024/017. Not legal advice.
Nobody can tell you who is behind a free proxy, and whoever it is sees your traffic, logins included. Check the address first: AS36912, AS30992 or AS15964 with country CM means a Cameroonian line, and a hosting company’s name means a server somewhere.
Your browser extension, app or script needs four things: host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-cm and your password. For one exit over two hours, extend the username with -sid-dla01-time-7200. SOCKS5 details are in the docs.
Yes. Cameroonian sites print CFA, FCFA or F, and BEAC, the central bank, prints XAF. It is fixed at 655.957 francs to the euro, so 1 200 000 CFA is about 1,829 euros at any date.
