Voursa is a classifieds site for cars, electronics, property, fashion and furniture, with Arabic pages at /AR and French at /FR. On 5 November 2026 its home page had a 2003 Mercedes with 216,502 km at 300,000 MRU, plots of land at 3,800,000 and 7,000,000, and phones at 15,000 and 32,000. Mauritania Airlines’ promotions show a Nouakchott to Casablanca return from 13,000 MRU and an Abidjan to Bamako return from 190,600 XOF. Beta Conseils, which calls itself the country’s first portal for recruitment and business news, had 21 notices with closing dates on its home page that day, from fuel stations for lease to consultancy tenders.
Google answered 98.77% of Mauritanian searches in October 2026 and 99.7% of those on phones; on desktops Bing had 8.42% (StatCounter). For tracking, see SERP proxies.

Census: ANSADE’s final results, as reprinted by City Population. The capital is three wilayas: Nouakchott-Sud 627,415, Nouakchott-Nord 614,465 and Nouakchott-Ouest 204,881. Where available, exits also come from places such as Dar Naim and Boully (5,697 people). In a pool this size a town can have few exits or none at a given moment, so open the exit in our IP checker before you rely on it.
APNIC Labs puts 88.47% of Mauritanian users on Mauritel’s AS29544. Each share is a separate estimate, so the column adds up to more than 100%. ARE, the regulator, counts three operators under individual licence and names Mauritel, Mattel and Chinguitel as the three national ones.

Users: APNIC Labs, 2 November 2026. IPv6: to 3 November 2026, when 4.94% of Mauritanian users were capable, against 9.31% across Western Africa. ARE’s 2024 report gives no mobile shares by operator in its text. Mauritel announced 24,576 IPv4 addresses (merged, RIPEstat, 5 November 2026) against APNIC’s 1,068,011 users, about 43 per address. Fixed internet had 49,652 subscribers at the end of 2024. Hosting, cloud and satellite networks are left out. Carrier and ISP keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany.
ARE counted 6,512,361 active mobile subscribers in 2021 and 4,558,995 in 2023, and 99% of lines are prepaid. It attributes the two-year fall in its fixed and mobile total, and the 2023 fall in mobile internet, to the procedure for identifying subscribers. Law 2024-011 of February 2024 then made biometric identification compulsory.
ARE, annual report for 2024. Active means used at least once in the last three months. The 2024 active figure is ARE’s total of 4,775,712 less 15,997 fixed lines, since its mobile table cell is cut off. National roaming began in January 2024 in nearly 230 localities served by one operator.

Each session lasts 30 minutes on -cc-mr. The script rejects any lookup outside MR, names the network from its ASN and reads a Voursa price under either label.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonMauritania dropped a zero on 1 January 2018: ten old ouguiyas became one new ouguiya, and old and new notes stayed legal tender to the end of that year.
Voursa still prints “أوقية جديدة”, new ouguiya, on its Arabic pages and “MRU” on the French ones, for the same ads. All 56 prices on the Arabic home page on 5 November 2026 carried the new label. A parser written for one language version finds nothing on the other.
ARE’s 2024 report and Mauritania Airlines print MRU, the code to store. Older files may carry MRO, where the same value is a number ten times larger.
Law 2017-020 on personal data created the Autorité de Protection des Données à Caractère Personnel (APD), which posts the Arabic text on its site. Keep the price and district from a public ad and leave out the seller’s name and number.
Law 2016-007 on cybercrime punishes intentional access without right to all or part of an information system, or the attempt, with one to three years in prison, a fine of 100,000 to 2,000,000 ouguiya, or one of the two (Article 6). Staying inside a system carries two to four years, 200,000 to 3,000,000 ouguiya, or one of the two (Article 7). The amounts are as printed in January 2016, before the 2018 change of unit.
Law 2024-011 of 15 February 2024 makes biometric identification of subscribers compulsory, and its Article 10 says the use of a SIM is strictly personal and the subscriber’s sole responsibility. Articles 13 and 22 make the subscriber answerable if a third person uses the SIM for illicit acts; one who authorised that use faces one to three months in prison, a fine of 10,000 to 100,000 ouguiya, or one of the two. Neither this law nor Law 2016-007 mentions proxies or VPNs, and the definitions we read in Law 2013-025 on electronic communications have no entry for them. Those texts, as far as we read them, set no registration, licence or ban for proxy or VPN users. We do not support gambling sites.
Not legal advice. We read Laws 2024-011 and 2016-007 in full, the second in Arabic, and most definitions in Law 2013-025. We did not read the rest of that law, Law 2022-14, a 2024 decree on service regimes, Laws 2016-006 and 2018-022, or Law 2017-020 beyond its title. Your requests leave from a Mauritanian IP address on a home or phone line, so a site answers as it would a visitor in the country. Use one to read Voursa prices, follow Beta Conseils notices or check Google results with gl=mr. Mauritius is a different country with its own page.
We have 2K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, on household lines that come and go. Phones have no count of their own; the order page shows mobile availability.
The login picks the country and nothing finer. Look in the dashboard generator for the wilayas and towns on offer, where available. Then open the exit in our IP checker, since geolocation databases disagree at town level.
Households on networks such as Mauritel, Chinguitel, Rimatel and Mattel supply the home exits. Phone lines on Mauritel, Mattel and Chinguitel carry the mobile ones where the pool has them, and the order page shows availability. Network keys are a US, UK and German option, so read the ASN in a lookup.
Mauritania has those two; the order page lists the countries with static IPs. Residential is cheaper and fits Voursa listings, news and search. At $0.50 more per GB, mobile suits pages built for phones, which made 88.66% of page views in October 2026.
Residential runs from $3.49 per GB on the smallest order to $1.69 at 1,000 GB or more, and mobile from $3.99 to $2.19. ISP IPs are $4.00 and datacenter IPs $2.00 a month in the countries the order page lists. Every tier and the current free trial terms are on the pricing page.
It is the same currency as MRU. Since 1 January 2018 ten old ouguiyas make one new one, and Voursa prints the words on Arabic pages and the code on French ones. Store both as MRU; mru() in the Python tab reads either.
In data of 3 November 2026, GeoLite puts 1.56% of 41.138.128.0/19, one of the blocks of Chinguitel’s AS37541, in Rotterdam and the other IPv4 entries for that network in Mauritania. Accept an exit on its country field and drop anything else, as the script does.
Laws 2016-007 and 2024-011 do not name proxies or VPNs, and neither do the definitions we read in Law 2013-025; we did not read its operative articles or every telecom text. Access without right falls under Article 6 of Law 2016-007, so stay on public pages. Not legal advice.
Whoever runs a free proxy can read and change what passes through it, logins included. Check the address first: AS29544, AS37541 or AS37508 with country MR points to a local line, and a hosting name to a rented server.
Enter host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-mr and your password wherever your browser extension or script asks for a proxy. To hold an exit for 30 minutes, end the username with -sid-nkc01-time-1800. The docs cover SOCKS5.
