Property, island flights, home internet and search

Property

Ray White sells in AUD and lets in VUV

On 5 November 2026 every price tag on the agency’s buy page was in Australian dollars, from AUD 99,000 at Mele Bay to AUD 6,000,000 on Moso Island. Every tag on its rent page was in vatu, from VUV 125,000 a month for a studio at Pango.

Flights

Air Vanuatu’s domestic fares

Port Vila to Santo starts at VUV 19,320 one way and Port Vila to Tanna at VUV 17,600. The search form has its own currency selector, so log which one was set.

Home internet

WanTok writes vatu as vt

Pay as you go is 100vt per GB. Unlimited plans are WanTok Basic at 5,000vt for 5 Mbps, Connect at 7,500vt for 10 Mbps and Connect + at 10,000vt for 15 Mbps.

Search and devices

Bing on desktops, Google on phones

StatCounter gave Google 88.31% of searches in October 2026 and Bing 8.82%, rising to 23.14% on desktops, while phones gave Google 97.94%. Phones made 59.41% of page views and Android ran 72.64% of mobile traffic. SERP proxies covers both engines.

Coverage

Port Vila, Luganville and the largest area councils

The 2020 census counted 300,019 people, with 49,034 in Port Vila and 17,719 in Luganville, the only two urban centres. Logins carry -cc-vu and nothing finer; the dashboard generator lists what is on offer.

Population: VNSO, 2020 census Basic Tables, Tables 1 and 1.1; shares of the national total are ours. With their towns, the provinces are Shefa 103,987, Sanma 60,884, Tafea 45,714, Malampa 42,499, Penama 35,607 and Torba 11,330. GeoLite places Vodafone’s AS9249 blocks in Port Vila, Norsup, Luganville, Isangel and Sola, and all four of Digicel’s in Port Vila (data of 3 November 2026), so a Digicel line on another island can read Port Vila. Where available, an exit may sit in Port Vila or Luganville; check it in our IP checker if its town matters to you.

Networks

Vodafone, Digicel and the newest licence, WanTok

APNIC Labs places 55.66% of Vanuatu users on Telecom Vanuatu, 34.34% on Digicel and 5.72% on WanTok. TRBR, the regulator, licenses all three for mobile, internet and fixed service and publishes no operator shares. The census names Digicel and Vodafone for mobile data.

Users: APNIC Labs, 2 November 2026; each share is its own estimate, and the full table adds up to 127.76%. IPv6: all three read 0.00% over 30 days, while the country read 15.38% on 3 November 2026, against 0.57% on 2 November 2025; the difference sits on satellite links, which are left out here. Digicel’s AS132429 announced 1,536 IPv4 addresses (merged, RIPEstat, 5 November 2026) against APNIC’s 30,353 users, about 20 per address, and Vodafone’s AS9249 6,656 against 49,188, about 7. TRBR ties an 11% fall in mobile data in 2024 to the magnitude 7.5 earthquake of 17 December 2024. Network keys exist for US, UK and German logins only.

For developers

Accept only VU exits and read every way of writing a price

One session on -cc-vu lasts 20 minutes, and lookups that do not read VU are skipped. A small parser turns AUD, VUV, VT and vt strings into one form.

import re, requests, uuid
GATE = "gate.aeonproxy.com:7000"
# Country key only. Lookups print the company, so test the country field and then map
# the ASN to the brand. Sites write vatu as VUV, VT or vt, and Ray White sells in AUD.
NET = {"AS9249": "Vodafone", "AS132429": "Digicel", "AS45935": "WanTok"}
TAGGED = re.compile(r"(AUD|VUV|VT)\s*([\d,]+)")
SUFFIX = re.compile(r"([\d,]+)\s*vt\b")

def vanuatu_exit(tries=8):
    for _ in range(tries):
        sid = uuid.uuid4().hex[:8]
        proxy = f"http://ap_a1b2c3-cc-vu-sid-{sid}-time-1200:PASS@{GATE}"
        try:
            geo = requests.get("https://ipinfo.io/json", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=20).json()
        except requests.RequestException:
            continue # timed out: try another session
        if geo.get("country") != "VU":
            continue # outside Vanuatu: skip it
        geo["network"] = NET.get(geo.get("org", "").split(" ")[0], geo.get("org"))
        return proxy, geo # the same exit for 20 minutes
    return None, None

def price(text):
    m = TAGGED.search(text)
    if m:
        return ("AUD" if m.group(1) == "AUD" else "VUV"), int(m.group(2).replace(",", ""))
    m = SUFFIX.search(text)
    return ("VUV", int(m.group(1).replace(",", ""))) if m else None

proxy, geo = vanuatu_exit()
if proxy:
    print(geo["ip"], geo.get("city"), geo["network"])
    print(price("AUD 525,000"), price("VUV 125,000 per month"), price("5,000vt"))

A pool of this size can give nothing in a run, and the function then returns None. For a longer hold raise the seconds in the login, up to 21600; a login without -sid- gets a new exit per request.

A Vanuatu quirk

Two currencies on one property site, three languages on a census form

Vatu appears three ways on the pages we read: VUV on Ray White and Air Vanuatu, VT in the Daily Post and vt on WanTok. Ray White adds AUD for everything it sells, and a scraper that assumes one currency will mix a VUV 125,000 rent with an AUD 99,000 sale.

Solomon Airlines’ Spring Sale, read on 5 November 2026, priced Santo to Brisbane from VUV 30,500 and Brisbane to Santo from AUD 405, so on that airline the currency follows the starting point.

Language changes by page too. The 2020 census forms came in English, French and Bislama, and 76.9% of people aged 15 and over were literate in English and 40.0% in French. The Vanuatu Tourism Office counts 113 languages and says Bislama is spoken and understood by the whole population. VBTC describes itself in Bislama, and the Daily Post runs a local news section in Mandarin.

In the same census 26.2% of people aged 15 and over used the internet: 48.3% in urban areas and 19.7% in rural ones.

The 2024 data act, the Cybercrime Act and the new filter in Vanuatu

The Data Protection and Privacy Act No. 13 of 2024 commenced on 2 January 2025. Section 2 applies it to personal data generated or collected in Vanuatu wherever the processing happens, and section 24 sets a fine of up to VT10,000,000 for breaking it. A Deputy Commissioner of Data Protection and Privacy, appointed under the Digital Safety Authority Act No. 15 of 2024, can require documents under section 18. Store prices and dates from a listing and leave out the seller’s name and number.

Section 3 of the Cybercrime Act No. 22 of 2021 punishes access to a computer system by infringing a security measure, intentionally and without lawful excuse, with up to VT2,000,000, five years in prison, or both. The Acts we read, including the 2009 telecommunications regulation act on TRBR’s site, do not use the words proxy or VPN. VBTC reported on 5 November 2026 that the Government has introduced a filter, managed by New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs, that blocks websites with verified child sexual abuse material and does not record users’ activity.

Not legal advice. PacLII would not open on 5 November 2026, and we did not search the TRBR Act amendments of 2018 and 2021. Scraping rulings elsewhere are in our 2022 to 2026 case review.

Vanuatu proxy questions

Your requests leave through a line in Vanuatu, so sites answer as they would to someone there. A Vanuatu IP is useful for reading Ray White rents and sale prices, following Air Vanuatu’s domestic fares and seeing local Google results.

64 residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. Home connections drop in and out during the day, and with so few of them rotation lands on the same addresses again and again. That covers reading one Ray White rent, one Air Vanuatu fare or one Google result. A full pull of the Daily Post’s classifieds needs more than 64 addresses can give. Mobile is not counted separately.

The login sets the country only, -cc-vu. The generator in your dashboard shows which provinces and towns are on offer, where available. A Digicel line can read Port Vila whichever island it is on, so confirm the place in our IP checker first.

Homes and phones on Vodafone, Digicel and WanTok, the three land networks in APNIC’s Vanuatu table, where the pool has them. No login key picks one of them, because network keys are for the US, the UK and Germany. Satellite services also have users in Vanuatu, and a lookup shows the operator of the exit you get.

Vodafone and Digicel, the two the census names for mobile data, where the pool has them; the order page shows availability. TRBR’s licence list also has WanTok for mobile, dated November 2024. Its report gives no shares by operator.

Those are the two choices here; countries with static IPs are on the order page. Residential, the cheaper, covers listings, fares and search. Mobile is $0.50 dearer per GB and makes sense for phone layouts, as phones produced 59.41% of page views in October 2026.

Order from the pricing page, which also has the current free trial terms. Residential runs from $3.49 per GB down to $1.69 by order size, and mobile from $3.99 to $2.19. In the countries the order page lists, static IPs are $4.00 (ISP) and $2.00 (datacenter) a month.

Ray White prints AUD for sales and VUV for rents, Air Vanuatu VUV for domestic fares, WanTok vt and the Daily Post VT. The Python tab reads all of them into one form.

The Acts we read do not mention proxies or VPNs. Section 3 of the Cybercrime Act No. 22 of 2021 covers access by infringing a security measure, and the 2024 data act covers personal data collected in Vanuatu. Not legal advice.

A stranger runs the machine and can log or alter your traffic, passwords included. An address on a local line reads AS9249, AS132429 or AS45935 with country VU. A hosting firm’s name in the org field means a server someone rents.

Your browser extension, app or HTTP client needs host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-vu and your password. Append -sid-vu01-time-3600 to the username for one exit over an hour. The docs cover SOCKS5.
