19K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, on Africell, Orange and Qcell connections and on smaller ISPs such as Fiber One, Smart Telecom and Michcom. A GB of residential traffic costs $3.49 on small orders and $1.69 on the largest; mobile costs $3.99 to $2.19. The login key is -cc-sl, and the dashboard generator lists whatever regions and towns are on offer.
Sierra Leonean household connections in the pool, October 2026.
APNIC Labs, report of 1 November 2026, with Orange at 33.74% and Qcell at 21.03%.
StatCounter for October 2026. Android ran 90.25% of that mobile traffic and iOS 9.67%.
A Sierra Leonean exit stays put for 60 to 21600 seconds with -sid- and -time-; otherwise the address changes per request.

Phones produced 73.98% of Sierra Leonean page views in October 2026, up from 51.25% in August (StatCounter). Ad checks and tests of mobile sites belong on a phone profile first.
Ahrefs’ October 2026 list for the country, ordered by estimated organic search traffic, is heavy on sport and foreign media: livescore.com is 2nd, bbc.com 13th, premierleague.com 22nd and standard.co.uk 38th. Eight addresses in the top 100 end in .uk and none in .sl; Swit Salone, a Sierra Leonean news and guides site, is 67th.
Google answered 97.89% of searches. Bing had 1.81% overall, 11.38% on desktops and 0.13% on phones, so desktop rank checks need both engines, as SERP proxies explains. Ahrefs’ shopping filter shows no Sierra Leonean store; marketplaces such as ExpresBuy run as apps, and its store text lists electronics, vehicles, property and jobs.
Statistics Sierra Leone counted 7,548,702 people in its 2021 mid-term census and 7,092,113 in the 2015 census. The two differ most on Freetown, the capital, at 609,174 against 1,055,964. The reasons for such gaps are unclear, so do not read the two columns as a trend. Enumeration for the next census is set for December 2026. Logins choose the country with -cc-sl; the dashboard generator lists the regions and towns on offer.
| City | Region, in the GeoNames form | Census 2021 | Census 2015 |

Population: Stats SL, 2021 MTPHC tables C and D, 2015 census final results. By region in 2021: Eastern 1,943,610, Southern 1,830,881, Northern 1,316,831, Western 1,271,330, North Western 1,186,050. Where available, exits come from places such as Freetown, Bo, Kenema, Koidu and Makeni. Two databases can name different towns for one address, so try the exit in our IP checker before relying on its town.
Africell’s network reaches 62.34% of internet users in APNIC Labs’ estimate, Orange’s 33.74% and Qcell’s 21.03%. NatCA, the regulator, had authorised 32 ISPs by the end of 2024; the next network in this table, Fiber One, reaches 1.17%.

Users: APNIC Labs, report dated 1 November 2026, 16 networks adding up to 123.30% because each share is estimated on its own. IPv6: 1.66% of Sierra Leonean users on 2 November 2026, against 0.58% a year earlier and 9.26% for Western Africa. Starlink, Cloudflare and Datacamp are left out. Only US, UK and German logins have ISP or carrier keys, so a lookup’s ASN shows the network.
NatCA counted 8,200,229 mobile voice and 3,608,579 mobile data subscriptions in December 2024. Mobile exits, where the pool has them, run on these three networks, and the order page shows availability.
NatCA, Annual Report 2024, tables 1.7 and 1.8. Subscriptions are not unique subscribers. NatCA calls One Mobile the newest entrant, deploying a standalone 5G network. Subscribers had until 1 November 2026 to link their National Identification Number to their SIM (Swit Salone, 30 October 2026).

Each login carries -cc-sl and a 15-minute session. The script keeps an exit only when its lookup says SL and names the operator from the ASN. A small helper turns old leone amounts into new ones.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonOn 21 April 2026 the Minister of Information announced that Cabinet had approved a National Data Protection Policy and a new Data Protection and Right to Access Information Act, with one authority for both subjects. The bill was to go to Parliament. Searches up to 3 November 2026 found no report of its tabling or passage, and Parliament’s own site would not open, so check its status before you rely on this. Prices and listing counts need no personal data, so leave names and phone numbers out.
The Cyber Security and Crime Act 2021 (Act 7 of 2021, Gazette 71 of 25 November 2021) is the text a scraper should read. Section 33 covers anyone who, intentionally and without authorisation, makes a computer system perform a function in order to secure access: two to five years in prison, a fine of Le 100,000,000 to Le 250,000,000, or both, and Le 500,000,000 to Le 1,000,000,000 for a company. Section 50 makes cyber cafés register, and neither this Act nor the National Communications Authority Act 2022 mentions proxies or VPNs. Gambling and betting sites are not a supported use.
Not legal advice. Court decisions on scraping, 2022 to 2026, are collected in our guide.Join @aeonprox, link our bot and test residential or mobile proxies for 72 hours. No card needed.
Your requests reach websites from a Sierra Leonean address, so sites treat you as a visitor from the country. It is useful for checking your own ads and pages from there, reading operator tariffs and seeing google.com.sl results.
We have 19K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. There is no separate count of mobile IPs. Mobile exits run on Africell, Orange and Qcell where the pool has them, and the order page shows availability.
A login selects the country, -cc-sl, and the dashboard generator shows which regions and towns are on offer. Placement in a town is where available. Check the exit in our IP checker before relying on it, because city data varies from one database to the next.
Households and phones on Africell, Orange and Qcell, then on smaller ISPs such as Fiber One, Smart Telecom, Michcom and Onlime. The login cannot pick one, as carrier and ISP keys are limited to the US, the UK and Germany. Read the ASN in a lookup to see which you have.
They count different things. APNIC estimates users per network and puts Africell first, at 62.34%, from 2026 measurements. NatCA counts subscriptions at the end of 2024: Africell leads voice with 54.51%, and Orange leads data with 60.09%, ahead of Africell’s 26.65%.
Residential and mobile are the options for this country; the order page lists the countries with static IPs. Rotating residential handles news sites, tariffs and search results. Mobile, at $0.50 more per GB, suits app tests and pages built for phones. Your own accounts stay within each platform’s rules.
Order on the pricing page. Residential costs $3.49 per GB at the lowest volume and $1.69 at the highest, and mobile $3.99 to $2.19. Traffic does not expire. There is a free trial too, with its present terms on that page.
Neither Act we read mentions proxies or VPNs, so neither sets a registration, licence or ban for them. Section 33 of the Cyber Security and Crime Act 2021 covers access without authorisation, and Cabinet approved a data protection bill in April 2026. This is not legal advice.
An unknown operator sits between you and every site, able to read and alter what passes, passwords included. Sierra Leonean operators look up as AS36988, AS37164 or AS328297 with country SL. A cloud company’s name means a rented machine.
Any browser extension, app or script that takes an HTTP proxy will do: host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-sl, then your password. Append -sid-fna01-time-3600 to the username to keep one address for an hour. The docs cover SOCKS5.
They all mean the leone. Three zeros came off in the redenomination: SLE is the ISO code for the new unit, Qcell writes NLe, and NatCA writes Le. Texts from before the change, such as the 2021 Act, use Le on the old scale, so divide those amounts by 1,000.
