KupujemProdajem, Polovni automobili and prices in two currencies

In Similarweb’s September 2026 ranking the classifieds site KupujemProdajem is the seventh most visited site in Serbia and first among both shopping and classifieds sites; Halo oglasi is second among classifieds. Polovni automobili, the top vehicle site, is 18th overall and eponuda.com, the leading price-comparison site, 37th.

Car and property ads are priced in euros: on 29 October 2026 the home pages of Polovni automobili and of 4zida, a property site, showed no dinar prices at all. Gigatron, which sells electronics and home appliances, prices in dinars. Store the currency with every figure you collect.

Cyrillic is the official script (Constitution, Article 10), yet Polovni automobili, 4zida, Gigatron and Infostud’s job board publish in Latin letters. In StatCounter’s September 2026 figures Google handles 96.51% of Serbian searches, and 56.8% of page views come from phones, 79.08% of them Android, so test Serbian pages on an Android phone first.

Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš: city and region keys

A quarter of Serbia’s 6,532,019 people live in Belgrade (RZS, end of 2025), with Novi Sad and Niš next. ipinfo.io and GeoNames divide Serbia into just two regions, Vojvodina and Central Serbia. The gateway’s region keys follow other lines: the Belgrade area, the Nišava and Šumadija districts, and Vojvodina as a whole. No key covers Central Serbia.

Population: RZS estimates for 31 December 2025, each for the administrative city with its surrounding settlements. The region keys cover the Belgrade area (1,680,926 people), Vojvodina (1,712,050), Nišava (338,607) and Šumadija (265,178). Exits also come from towns without a key, among them Kraljevo, Čačak, Šabac, Novi Pazar, Užice and Sombor. Location databases can disagree about an address’s town, so check each exit in our IP checker first.

Networks

The networks behind Serbian exits

Telekom Srbija, Yettel and A1 reach three in four Serbian internet users through four networks, by APNIC Labs’ estimate. Yettel appears twice, for the SBB cable network it absorbed in April 2026 and for its mobile network, registered to CETIN. Outside Telekom Srbija, IPv6 hardly exists.

For developers

Niš by key, confirmed by lookup

Region and city keys follow -cc-rs in plain Latin letters: -st-nisava, -city-nis. ipinfo.io answers in Serbian letters and with one of its two regions, so a Niš exit reads “Niš” and “Central Serbia”; the check maps each key to the names a lookup returns.

import requests, uuid
GATE = "gate.aeonproxy.com:7000"
# ipinfo.io names two Serbian regions; the gateway's region keys are areas inside them
REGION = {"belgrade": "Central Serbia", "nisava": "Central Serbia",
          "sumadija": "Central Serbia", "vojvodina": "Vojvodina"}
# cities come back with Serbian letters, and Belgrade often as one of its municipalities
CITY = {"belgrade": {"Belgrade", "Novi Beograd", "Čukarica", "Ovča"}, "novisad": {"Novi Sad"},
        "nis": {"Niš"}, "kragujevac": {"Kragujevac"}, "subotica": {"Subotica"}, "zrenjanin": {"Zrenjanin"}}

def serbian_exit(region, city, tries=6):

            return proxy, geo # this URL keeps the exit for up to 6 hours

# org is the network: AS31042 prints "Yettel d.o.o." even on an SBB cable line

Region keys: belgrade, vojvodina, nisava, sumadija. City keys: belgrade, novisad, nis, kragujevac, subotica, zrenjanin. Network keys exist only in the US, the UK and Germany, so read the Serbian operator from the org field: AS8400 is Telekom Srbija, AS31042 SBB cable under the Yettel name, AS15958 Yettel mobile, AS44143 A1.

A Serbian quirk

SBB homes now read Yettel, and Yettel phones read CETIN

SBB, Serbia’s second fixed broadband operator, now belongs to Yettel, so brand, network name and line type no longer line up in a lookup.

A deal for SBB

e& PPF Telecom, the group behind Yettel, signs to buy all of SBB from United Group for EUR 825 million. The cable operator has more than 700,000 active customers.

Legal merger

SBB merges into Yettel, which now provides and invoices its services. SBB stays on as a brand, with its own shops, app and contact centre.

The registry record

The RIPE organisation object behind AS31042, last changed that day, names Yettel d.o.o., while its address ranges keep SBB-NET netnames and kdsinter.net host names.

What lookups print

ipinfo.io shows AS31042 as “Yettel d.o.o.” and AS15958 as “CETINdoo-NET”, while AS15958 addresses resolve to *.dynamic.mbb.yettel.rs.

Personal data and computer crime rules in Serbia

Serbia, outside the EU, has its own Law on Personal Data Protection (Official Gazette 87/2018), built on the GDPR model and enforced by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection. Article 3(4) extends it to controllers abroad that offer goods or services to people in Serbia or monitor their activity there. Sellers’ names and phone numbers in classified ads are personal data; collect listings and prices and leave the people out.

Article 302 of the Criminal Code punishes entering a computer or network without authorisation by breaking its protection: a fine or up to six months in prison, and up to two years for recording or using the data. We found no Serbian rule that registers, licenses or bans proxies or VPNs. The Games of Chance Act (Article 122) has unapproved foreign gambling sites blocked by IP address; AeonProxy does not support reaching them.

Serbia proxy questions

It sends your requests out through an address on a Serbian network, so Serbian sites answer as they would a local visitor. Use one to collect listings from KupujemProdajem or Polovni automobili, compare offers on eponuda.com, check Serbian Google results or test your own site from inside Serbia.

548K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. Home connections join and drop out all day, so the figure moves. Mobile IPs have no separate count: mobile exits are on Telekom Srbija, Yettel and A1 when the pool holds them, and the order page shows what you can buy.

Six city keys work where available: -city-belgrade, -city-novisad, -city-nis, -city-kragujevac, -city-subotica and -city-zrenjanin. The region keys are -st-belgrade, -st-vojvodina, -st-nisava and -st-sumadija. Look up each exit in our IP checker before relying on its city.

Lookups name some Belgrade addresses after a municipality or settlement, such as Novi Beograd, Čukarica or Ovča; Novi Beograd alone has 206,496 residents, more than Kragujevac. For regions they know only Vojvodina and Central Serbia, and the gateway has no key for the second. Ask for -st-belgrade and count those names as Belgrade, as the Python example does.

From the networks Serbian homes and phones use. In APNIC’s estimate Telekom Srbija carries 35.46% of users, Yettel’s SBB cable network 14.78%, Yettel’s mobile network 13.87% and A1 10.74%, and regional ISPs such as Sat-Trakt in Vojvodina add more. Operator keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany.

SBB merged into Yettel on 1 April 2026, and its cable network, AS31042, is now registered as Yettel d.o.o. Yettel’s mobile network is AS15958, registered to CETIN, so ipinfo.io prints CETINdoo-NET for a Yettel phone. Whatever the name, AS31042 means a cable home line and AS15958 a mobile one.

Rotating residential exits handle classifieds, comparison sites and search. Mobile exits are for apps and phone layouts, and cost $0.50 per GB more than residential at every tier. A static ISP address keeps one IP for the whole rental, which suits your own accounts used within each platform’s rules; the order page shows whether Serbian ISP IPs are in stock.

Serbian law, as far as we found, has no rule on proxies or VPNs. Law 87/2018 covers personal data you collect, and Article 302 of the Criminal Code makes it a crime to enter a computer or network by breaking its protection. Keep to public, logged-out pages within each site’s terms. This is not legal advice.

Someone you cannot identify runs a free proxy and can read and log whatever passes through it. A “Serbian” address can also sit abroad: APNIC’s Serbian table includes NetO Corp, registered with ARIN, whose addresses geolocate to San Jose and Frankfurt. Never send a password through a free proxy.

Set gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, as the HTTP proxy in your browser, extension or scraper and log in as ap_a1b2c3-cc-rs with your password. Region, city and session keys follow the country code, as in the Python tab, with the session length in seconds after -time-; the docs cover SOCKS5. A free trial exists, and the pricing page has its current terms.
