OLX is the 12th most visited site in Bulgaria and the car marketplace mobile.bg the 16th, by Similarweb’s September 2026 count; jobs.bg ranks 25th and eMAG 26th. OLX also leads the shopping list and the classifieds list, where bazar.bg and alo.bg follow it; eMAG leads the marketplaces ahead of Temu and Kaufland.
Each site writes euro amounts its own way. On 29 October 2026 the home page of technopolis.bg, an electronics and appliance hypermarket chain, showed 369.00 €, bazar.bg 46,01 € and mobile.bg 14 990 €, so normalise decimal commas and spaced thousands before you compare.
In September 2026 StatCounter put two thirds of Bulgarian page views (66.88%) on phones and 77.56% of mobile views on Android. Google takes 95.98% of searches; SERP proxies explains rank checks from a local exit.
Share of Bulgaria’s 6,423,207 people by province at the end of 2025 (NSI). Highlighted provinces have a key, the province name in lowercase letters: -st-sofiacapital, -st-sofia, -st-plovdiv, -st-varna, -st-burgas, -st-starazagora, -st-ruse.
-city-sofia-city-plovdiv-city-varna-city-burgas-city-starazagora-city-pleven, no province keyTown populations: NSI, 31 December 2025. Lookups use the GeoNames province names, which include two Sofias: Sofia-Capital for the city and Sofia for the province that surrounds it, so -st-sofia can return an exit in Samokov or another town of that province. Exits also come from provinces without a key, such as Blagoevgrad, Haskovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Shumen and Sliven, and from towns such as Kazanlak, Asenovgrad, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Nesebar. One address can carry different town names in different databases, so check where an exit sits in our IP checker before relying on it.
Three groups reach 72% of Bulgarian internet users in APNIC Labs’ estimate: Vivacom on one network, A1 on four and Yettel on one registered to CETIN Bulgaria. The other 23.84% spreads over more than 400 networks, mostly small local ISPs. IPv6 sits almost entirely on fixed lines.
| Network | Registered as | Access | ASN | Share of Bulgarian users | IPv6 |

Users: APNIC Labs, 27 October 2026; IPv6-capable share to 28 October 2026, when Bulgaria stood at 24.12%. Registered names: RIPE database; Yettel’s network still carries the as-name TelenorBG-AS. A1, formerly Mtel, also runs AS8717 (0.68%), and its mobile addresses on AS12716 still resolve to mtel.net names. The regulator (CRC) counted Vivacom 36.3%, A1 33.9% and Yettel 29.8% of mobile internet subscribers at the end of 2025. Local ISPs that exits come from include Escom in Haskovo, Optinet in Yambol, SKAT TV, Cooolbox, 5KOM, DCC, Pernik LAN and Lukovitnet.
Fixed internet subscriptions by access type at the end of 2025, from the CRC’s annual report. Of 2.772 million subscriptions, Vivacom held 37.4%, A1 31.7%, Yettel 5.1% and all other providers 25.8%.
CRC, Annual Report 2025 (July 2026). A home on fixed access over a mobile network goes online through a mobile operator, so a residential exit can carry a mobile ASN such as CETIN Bulgaria’s AS29244. LTE reached more than 99% of the population at the end of 2025 and 5G 92%, with 3.169 million 5G subscriptions.

Province and city keys come after -cc-bg. Each is the name a lookup prints, lowercased, with spaces and hyphens dropped: Sofia-Capital becomes -st-sofiacapital, Stara Zagora -city-starazagora. The check builds the same form from ipinfo.io’s answer and compares. Session length goes after -time- in seconds, from 60 to 21600.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonA Bulgarian price series that starts before 2026 changes currency partway through. Article 12 of the Euro Adoption Act fixes the rate at 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN, and Article 13 sets rounding to the cent.
Lev and euro cash circulate side by side through January, and lev accounts are converted automatically.
Euro banknotes and coins become the sole legal tender.
The year of mandatory price display in both currencies is over. The euro price is the one customers pay, and a lev figure, where one remains, is for reference.
technopolis.bg, bazar.bg and mobile.bg list prices in euros alone. A series that began in leva lines up with them once its old values are divided by 1.95583.
As an EU member, Bulgaria applies the GDPR directly, next to its Personal Data Protection Act of 2002, which was amended for the GDPR in 2019 and most recently by State Gazette No. 69 of 2026. The Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) supervises both. Ads on OLX, bazar.bg or imot.bg often carry sellers’ names and phone numbers, which are personal data; collect the listings and prices without them.
Article 319a of the Criminal Code makes unlawful access to an information system a crime, and Article 319b covers adding, copying, changing or deleting computer data without permission. No Bulgarian rule we found registers, licenses or bans proxies or VPNs. Stay on pages that open without a login, within each site’s terms.

It routes your requests through a Bulgarian exit IP, so the site sees a visitor in Bulgaria. Use one for euro prices on eMAG and pazaruvaj, OLX and imot.bg listings, Google results for Sofia or Varna, and tests of your own Bulgarian pages.
31K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, a figure that shifts daily with the home connections online. Bulgarian mobile IPs are not counted separately. A1, Vivacom and Yettel carry the mobile exits whenever the pool has them, and the order page shows current availability.
All three have a city key and a province key, usable where available. City keys: -city-sofia, -city-plovdiv, -city-varna, -city-burgas, -city-starazagora, -city-pleven. Province keys: -st-sofiacapital, -st-sofia, -st-plovdiv, -st-varna, -st-burgas, -st-starazagora, -st-ruse. Town-level placement varies between geolocation databases, so check an exit in our IP checker first.
For the capital, -st-sofiacapital. Geolocation has two provinces called Sofia: Sofia-Capital, home to 1,303,813 people including the city, and Sofia, the surrounding province of 222,946 with towns such as Samokov and Ihtiman. An exit requested with -st-sofia can be outside the capital. Pair -st-sofiacapital with -city-sofia when you need the city itself.
Vivacom, A1 and Yettel reach 72% of Bulgarian internet users between them. Exits come from home and phone lines on their networks and on local ISPs such as ComNet in Burgas and Sliven, UltraNET, Net-Surf, Telecabel, Escom in Haskovo and Optinet in Yambol. Operator keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany.
Yettel’s mobile network, AS29244, is registered to CETIN Bulgaria EAD, and lookups print that name. Vivacom and A1 exits show their own names. Sort by ASN: AS29244 is Yettel mobile, AS12716 A1 mobile, AS8866 Vivacom, and AS29580 or AS13124 an A1 home line.
Euros. Bulgaria joined the euro area on 1 January 2026, and compulsory dual pricing ended on 8 August 2026. Older data is in leva: divide by the fixed 1.95583 and round to the cent.
Residential with rotation covers OLX, eMAG and comparison data. Two thirds of Bulgarian page views come from phones, so mobile exits suit app and mobile-page checks, at $0.50 per GB above residential at every tier. An ISP proxy gives your own accounts, used within platform rules, one static address for the rental; Bulgarian stock is on the order page.
We found nothing in Bulgarian law aimed at proxies or VPNs. The GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act govern personal data you collect, and Article 319a of the Criminal Code makes unlawful access to an information system a crime. This is not legal advice.
A free proxy’s operator is unknown to you and sees every request you send. Before trusting any Bulgarian exit, look up its network: a home line shows Vivacom, A1 or a local ISP, while a hosting company’s name means a server. Keep passwords away from free proxies.
Your browser extension or HTTP client needs host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, the username ap_a1b2c3-cc-bg with any province, city or session keys, and your password. The Python tab shows the keys in use, and the docs cover SOCKS5. A free trial exists; the pricing page lists its current terms.
