248K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, on the MEO, NOS, Vodafone and Digi lines Portuguese households use. Residential from $1.69 and mobile from $2.19 per GB. Start the login with -cc-pt, then add a district such as -st-porto or a city such as -city-lisbon.
Addresses on Portuguese home connections in the pool, October 2026.
Our 40 test exits of 27 October 2026 came from 23 cities in 9 regions, and ipinfo.io placed all 40 in Portugal.
19 of 24 district requests and 16 of 23 city requests were placed where the login asked.
Add a session key to hold one Portuguese exit for up to an hour; leave it out and each request rotates.

Portugal’s busiest shopping site in September 2026 was a Spanish one. Similarweb ranked amazon.es first among Portuguese e-commerce sites, followed by the electronics retailer Worten and the classifieds site OLX, with AliExpress fifth. From a Portuguese exit you see the prices, delivery dates and stock those stores show a Portuguese address.
Bing took 10.18% of Portuguese searches that month and Google 87.34% (StatCounter), so a Portuguese rank check is worth running on both engines. Phones and computers produced almost the same share of page views, 49.52% and 49.36%, so check mobile and desktop results alike. SERP proxies covers the search setup.
Geolocation databases name Portugal’s 18 districts and the two island regions in English, and our keys follow them: -st-lisbon works, -st-lisboa is refused. In our 27 October 2026 sample, Lisbon gave 11 of 40 exits, Porto 5 and Vila Nova de Gaia 3.
| City | District (ipinfo) | Census 2021 | City key | District key |

Population: municipality counts of the 2021 census (INE, via Eurostat). Region totals in the sample: Lisbon 13, Porto 12, Braga 4, Aveiro 3, Faro 3. District requests landed in the district asked 19 times out of 24 (ipinfo.io); four of the five misses sat in a neighbouring district, such as Maia and Senhora da Hora for two Braga requests. City requests hit 16 times out of 23: two Porto requests came back in Vila Nova de Gaia and two Coimbra requests in Lisbon, so check the exit before relying on a city.
Three groups reach about 96% of Portuguese users, and a fourth is growing. ANACOM’s fixed-internet figures, as 4gnews reported them in September 2026, gave MEO 40.4% of customers, NOS 33.2%, Vodafone 21.6% and the Digi group 3.8%, the only one of the four gaining share.

Share of users: APNIC Labs, 25 October 2026; IPv6-capable share: APNIC’s Portugal table, 26 October 2026, when the country stood at 48.43%. NOS is about 35% of users across its four networks and MEO about 35% across three. The last column counts exits in our 27 October 2026 samples (40 home, 12 mobile), not each network’s size in the pool.
First in Portuguese shopping traffic. Prices, sellers and delivery dates shown to a Portuguese address.
The Portuguese retailer ranked second in shopping traffic. Prices, promotions and stock by category.
OLX tops Similarweb’s comparison list too, with CustoJusto third. Asking prices by category and district, without sellers’ names or numbers.
Second on the same Similarweb list, and the one site in it built for price comparison. How many shops list a product, and the lowest price on offer.
The two most visited property portals, ahead of the RE/MAX and ERA agency sites. Asking prices and rents by municipality.
The country’s leading vehicle site. Asking prices by make, model, year and district.
First among Portuguese job sites, ahead of Indeed and the public employment service IEFP. Vacancies by district and sector.
Results with gl=pt and hl=pt-PT from a Portuguese exit, plus Bing for about one search in ten. How location checks work.

District and city keys follow -cc-pt in the login, written without accents. ipinfo.io answers with accents (Setúbal), so the check strips them before comparing.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonMEO, NOS and Vodafone still serve most Portuguese homes. Digi arrived in 2024, and its exits do not look Portuguese in a lookup.
DIGI Portugal completed its purchase of Cabonitel, owner of the cable and mobile operator Nowo, two days after the competition authority cleared the €150 million deal. The same authority had blocked an earlier bid for Nowo by Vodafone.
Digi opened to households with mobile plans from €4 a month and 1 Gbps fibre at €10. At launch its 2G and 4G reached 93% of the population and 5G about 40%.
ANACOM’s count, as 4gnews reported it, put the Digi group at 3.7% of active mobile accesses, up one point, behind MEO (35.8%), NOS (31.0%) and Vodafone (27.5%).
Digi reported 960,000 revenue-generating units in Portugal, 22% more than a year before, including 545,000 mobile and 186,000 broadband.
Two of 40 home exits and two of 12 mobile exits were Digi. Lookups print the network as AS20879, “DIGI ROMANIA S.A.”, so a filter that expects Portuguese company names will drop them by mistake. Nowo’s cable network still answers as AS13156, NOWO COMMUNICATIONS.
Portugal has three time zones in the IANA database: Europe/Lisbon for the mainland, Atlantic/Madeira, which keeps Lisbon time, and Atlantic/Azores, one hour behind all year. NOS serves both archipelagos on networks of their own, NOS Madeira (AS15457) and NOS Açores (AS42580). Island VAT is lower as well: the standard rate is 23% on the mainland, 22% in Madeira and 16% in the Azores (PwC, July 2026). All six of our district keys are on the mainland and neither island region has one, so an island exit cannot be requested.
IPv6 splits by network. MEO keeps homes and phones apart, at 83.45% IPv6-capable on its residential network against 3.37% on its mobile one (APNIC, 26 October 2026). NOS carries both on AS2860, which is where 7 of our 12 mobile exits came from.
Portugal applies the GDPR together with Lei 58/2019 of 8 August 2019. It names the CNPD as the supervisory authority and lets children consent to online services from the age of 13. Names, phone numbers and profiles on Portuguese listings are personal data even on a public page, so keep collection to prices, stock, listings and rankings.
No Portuguese law we found registers, licenses or bans proxies or VPNs. Whatever you do through an exit stays subject to the rules for that activity, and to each site’s terms.
Not legal advice. Scraping cases from 2022 to 2026 are summed up in our court-case guide.Join @aeonprox, link our bot and test residential or mobile proxies for 72 hours. No card needed.
Its exit address sits on a Portuguese network, so websites treat your request as coming from Portugal. Use one for euro prices and delivery dates on amazon.es or Worten, for idealista listings and Portuguese search results, or to see how your own site behaves on MEO, NOS and Vodafone lines.
248K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. Home connections join and leave all day, so the figure moves. We publish no count of Portuguese mobile IPs; our 12-exit mobile sample of 27 October 2026 came from NOS (7), MEO (3) and Digi (2).
Yes, where available. Districts: -st-lisbon, -st-porto, -st-braga, -st-setubal, -st-faro, -st-aveiro. Cities: -city-lisbon, -city-porto, -city-braga, -city-coimbra, -city-amadora, -city-setubal, -city-faro. On 27 October 2026, ipinfo.io placed 19 of 24 district requests and 16 of 23 city requests where asked.
Vila Nova de Gaia is in Porto district, and as a municipality it is larger than Porto itself: 303,824 people against 231,800 in the 2021 census. Two of our Porto city requests landed there. If the wider Porto area is enough, use -st-porto; if you need Porto proper, retry until the lookup says Porto, as the Python example does.
Vodafone gave 17 of the 40 home exits in our sample, MEO 12, NOS 7, Digi 2 and Starlink 2. Operator keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany, so in Portugal you sort exits by the ASN each lookup returns.
That is the registry name on AS20879, the network Digi uses in Portugal. Digi launched here in November 2024, so an exit with that name and a Portuguese city is a Portuguese line. Keep it in your results if you filter by operator.
No. Neither the Azores nor Madeira has a region key, and all six district keys are on the mainland, so an island exit cannot be requested.
Rotating residential exits cover price, listing and search work. Mobile exits came from NOS, MEO and Digi in our sample and fit app and mobile-web checks. Take a static ISP IP when one Portuguese address has to stay the same for weeks, such as for your own accounts within platform rules.
Using one is not illegal under any Portuguese source we read, and we found no rule aimed at proxies or VPNs. Personal data you collect falls under the GDPR and Lei 58/2019. This is not legal advice.
Someone you cannot identify runs it, and can read and keep whatever passes through. Send no logins or customer data that way, and test any exit, ours too, with our IP checker.
