OpenSooq’s Omani site groups classified ads for cars, property and jobs by governorate, with car pages for Muscat, Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliya and Dhofar. Asking prices are in Omani rials, and the ads are written in Arabic or English.
Omantel’s online store prints prices to three decimals: on 31 October 2026 it listed an iPhone 17 at 365.400 rials and a 20 W charger at 6.800. SalamAir advertised fares from OMR 53, with a separate fare for Omani nationals. News comes in English from Times of Oman and Oman Observer and in Arabic from Atheer.
On computers Bing reached 14.02% of Omani searches in September 2026, against 1.38% on phones and 5.98% overall, with Google at 93.15% (StatCounter). Computers and phones produced almost the same share of page views that month, 48.44% and 49.39%, so an Omani rank check should cover Bing on desktop too; SERP proxies has the setup.
The census of December 2020 counted 4,471,148 people in Oman, 1,302,440 of them (29.1%) in Muscat Governorate. NCSI’s population clock showed 3,082,859 Omanis and 2,395,665 expatriates on 30 October 2026. Targeting stops at the country, -cc-om; the dashboard generator lists whatever governorates and cities it can offer.

Population: 2020 census, wilayat figures, via citypopulation.de. Exits also come from towns such as Rustaq, Shinas, Izki, Sinaw, Taqah and Hayma, in all eleven governorates. Lookups spell some names with accents (Şalālah, Al Khābūrah), and GeoNames, the source of their region names, calls Ash Sharqiyah South “Southeastern Governorate”. Geolocation databases often disagree about towns, so check the city an exit reports in our IP checker before you depend on it.
APNIC Labs estimates that four networks reach 95.86% of Omani internet users: Omantel 50.12%, Ooredoo 24.54%, the fibre provider Awasr 13.72% and Vodafone 7.48%. The other eight rows of its Omani table are satellite, security, cloud, hosting and research networks, none above 0.35%.

Users: APNIC Labs, 29 October 2026. IPv6: APNIC, to 30 October 2026, with Oman at 30.19%. In ipinfo.io lookups the org field carries the registered names of Ooredoo, Awasr and Vodafone, and “OmanTel NAP” for Omantel. Vodafone announces few IPv4 addresses for its users, about 56 per address by APNIC’s user estimate against about four on the other three networks, so a Vodafone exit is likely shared by many phones. Logins can name an ISP or carrier only in the US, the UK and Germany, so Omani exits are told apart by ASN.
TRA figures as charted by Ookla in January 2026. Renna runs on Omantel’s network and Friendi on Vodafone’s, which makes the split by network about 43% Omantel, 32% Ooredoo and 25% Vodafone. Mobile exits in the pool use these three networks; see the order page for availability.
At the end of August 2026 NCSI counted 8,515,864 mobile subscriptions and 595,604 fixed broadband ones, 369,766 of them fibre and 209,519 fixed 5G. The TRA’s 3G switch-off was largely complete by mid-2025.

The login carries -cc-om and a session, nothing below country level. The script skips any exit outside OM, strips the accents ipinfo.io adds to names such as Şalālah, and keeps the first exit placed in the governorate you ask for.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonThe Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree 6/2022, has applied since February 2023, a year after its publication, with an executive regulation issued by Ministerial Decision 34/2024; the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology enforces it. Data available to the public fall outside the law (article 3). Personal data may be sent out of Oman only under the regulation’s conditions (article 23), and breaking that rule carries a fine of OMR 100,000 to 500,000 (article 29).
In July 2026 Oman’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority warned the public against using VPNs (Oman Observer, 6 July 2026). SAMENA Daily News reported that the warning concerned unauthorised use, which may violate regulatory requirements, and that the TRA urged VPN use in line with Omani laws and the applicable licensing frameworks; in April 2025 Oman Moments reported that the TRA had announced no blanket ban. Providing telecom services needs a licence under the Telecommunications Regulatory Act, Royal Decree 30/2002. Using AeonProxy as a VPN from Oman, or to reach services restricted in Oman, is not supported.
Article 3 of the Cyber Crime Law, Royal Decree 12/2011, punishes entering a website or information system without right, or beyond the access granted, with one to six months in prison and a fine of OMR 100 to 500, or either of the two; if personal data are then deleted, copied or published, the penalty rises to one to three years. Gambling is a crime under articles 288 to 290 of the Penal Code; AeonProxy does not support access to betting sites.

An Oman proxy gives your requests an address on an Omani network, and websites answer them as they would a visitor in Oman. Typical jobs are OpenSooq ads, rial prices on Omantel’s store or SalamAir, google.com.om rankings and tests of your own Omani pages.
123K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. No mobile figure exists; Omani mobile exits run on Omantel, Ooredoo and Vodafone where the pool has them, and the order page shows what is available.
Logins choose the country, -cc-om, and the dashboard generator lists any governorates and cities it can offer, where available. For one governorate, filter on the region ipinfo.io returns, as the Python tab does with Dhofar for Salalah; Seeb, Bawshar and Muttrah come back under Muscat. Confirm the town of each exit in our IP checker, since geolocation databases often name different cities for one address.
Homes and phones on Omantel, Ooredoo, Awasr and Vodafone, the four networks APNIC credits with 95.86% of Omani internet users. Satellite, security and cloud networks are left out. Carrier keys work only for the US, the UK and Germany, so tell Omani networks apart by ASN: AS28885, AS50010, AS204170 and AS212661.
That is the registered company name behind Ooredoo Oman’s AS50010, and lookups print the registry entry. In the same way Vodafone Oman shows as Oman Future Telecommunications Company and Awasr as Awaser Oman LLC.
Rotating residential exits suit listings, shop prices and search results, mobile exits app tests and phone layouts; Android carried 70.52% of Omani mobile traffic in September 2026. ISP proxies are static, one address for the whole rental, for accounts you run yourself within each platform’s rules; Omani stock is listed on the order page.
Oman’s telecom regulator, the TRA, warned the public against unauthorised VPN use in July 2026 and urged that VPNs be used in line with Omani laws and licensing frameworks, according to press reports of the warning. Using AeonProxy as a VPN from Oman, or to reach services restricted in Oman, is not supported. Unauthorised access to a system is a crime under the Cyber Crime Law, and personal data you collect fall under Royal Decree 6/2022. Not legal advice.
Nobody can tell you who operates a free proxy, and that operator can read, alter and store every request you send. An Omani home or phone line belongs to AS28885, AS50010, AS204170 or AS212661; a free “Omani” proxy on any other network is very likely a rented server.
Enter gate.aeonproxy.com and port 7000 as the HTTP proxy in your extension, app or code, with the login ap_a1b2c3-cc-om and your password. Add -sid-mct01-time-1800 to the login to keep one exit for half an hour. The docs cover SOCKS5 and individual tools; the pricing page has the current free trial terms.
VAT is 5% under Royal Decree 121/2020; record whether each price you collect includes it. On discounted goods, shops must print the original price, the new price and the percentage, so collect all three, keeping prices to three decimals.
