US dollars, FM postcodes and search that changes with the device

Title 57 of the FSM Code makes the coins and currencies of the United States the legal tender, so local pages quote dollars. Manta Ray Bay Resort in Yap lists three nights with six dives at $809 per diver, and Kosrae Village prices a standard cottage at $105 a night. Addresses read “Pohnpei, FM 96941” or “Kosrae, Micronesia 96944”, and the FSM Postal Service’s home page carries a USPS rates notice. FSM Statistics put annual inflation at 1.3% for the fourth quarter of 2025: Kosrae 4.6%, Pohnpei 1.8%, Yap 0.5%, Chuuk 0.04%.

From a Micronesian IP you can read such pages as a local visitor does and check an advert or a search result shown there. Google had 82.59% of searches in October 2026 (StatCounter), and 99.81% on phones. On desktops it fell to 62.78%, with Bing on 28.85% and Yahoo on 8.15%, so a desktop rank check needs more than one engine. Phones made 69% of page views, and Android ran 81.3% of mobile traffic. For tracking the engines side by side, see SERP proxies.

A .fm address says little about the place behind it. FSM Telecommunications Corporation in Kolonia manages the domain, according to IANA, while the sales site get.fm, with a San Francisco address, offers it for music, radio and podcasting. Public bodies here sit on government hosts, which our relay refuses by default.

Coverage

Chuuk, Pohnpei, Yap and Kosrae, then Weno, Sokehs and Kolonia

The 2023 census counted 75,817 people in four states. Targeting works at country level with -cc-fm, and the dashboard generator shows which states and towns are on offer, where available.

Population: FSM Statistics, 2023 census tables for the country, Pohnpei, Yap and Kosrae. Its Chuuk page has no 2023 municipal table, so Weno’s row is from 2010, 13,856 of 102,843. Palikir, the capital, is in Sokehs, and Colonia, Yap’s state capital, spans Weloy and Rull. GeoLite gives a city for 4 of FSM Telecom’s 18 IPv4 blocks (Kolonia, Nema and Worwoq), so open an exit in our IP checker before you rely on its town.

Networks

FSM Telecom under four ASNs, and iBoom! on a far smaller scale

APNIC Labs estimates 36,538 users on the four ASNs of FSM Telecommunications Corporation and 347 on iBoom! (Boom! Inc.). Its percentages print low: 21,921 users as 10.29% implies a country base of about 213,000, against 75,817 in the 2023 census. Go by the user estimates.

User estimates are APNIC Labs’ of 2 November 2026; the per-ASN IPv6 figures were read on 5 November 2026. On 3 November 2026 APNIC had 21.35% of Micronesian users as IPv6-capable, on networks outside this table. FSM Telecom’s four ASNs announced 8,192 IPv4 addresses (merged, RIPEstat, 5 November 2026). We found no published shares by operator. FSM Telecom announced cellular service in April 2002, and FSMT Cable Corporation names FSMTC, iBoom! and CPUC among the service providers. Hosting, cloud and satellite networks are left out. A lookup’s ASN names the network you got; login keys for a network exist only in the US, the UK and Germany.

No free traffic ranking covers this country, so the list is pages we opened on 5 November 2026, with no rank. FSM Telecom’s own site and The Kaselehlie Press did not open that day. Read what a signed-out visitor sees, and each site’s terms apply.

For developers

Accept any FSM Telecom ASN, then read resort rates

Each session holds one exit on -cc-fm for 30 minutes. The script drops any exit whose lookup country is not FM, names the network from its ASN, and pulls the dollar figures from Manta Ray Bay’s rates page.

With this few addresses the function can return nothing on a given run, so try again later instead of raising tries.

A Micronesian quirk

Yap in 2018, Chuuk in 2019, Kosrae last: the cable dates

Yap and Chuuk had fibre years before Kosrae, whose internet the government’s 2025 report describes as limited to low-capacity geostationary satellite service.

Yap

Yap’s cable enters service, linked to the SEA-US system.

Chuuk

The Chuuk to Pohnpei cable becomes operational, joining HANTRU-1 between Guam and Kwajalein.

Open access

FSMT Cable Corporation describes its fibre-to-the-home network as open to existing and new licensed providers.

Kosrae landing

The East Micronesia Cable, about 2,250 km from Tarawa to Pohnpei, lands in Kosrae.

All four states

The Office of the President marks the countdown to service. President Simina calls it the first time all four states are connected by submarine cable.

Construction done

NEC reports the system finished, with FSMT Cable Corporation running the FSM part.

Micronesia’s telecom privacy sections and the bills before Congress

We found no general data-protection act in force. Public Law 18-52 of 2014, which created the Telecommunication Regulation Authority, added sections 349 and 350 to Title 21: a telecom licensee may not collect, use or disclose customer information without consent and must take all reasonable steps to keep customers’ communications confidential. A Personal Data Protection Act of 2025 (C.B. 24-17) would cover core national government departments and agencies; in May 2026 the Judiciary and Governmental Operations committee deferred it to Resources and Development.

The Title 11 chapter list we read has no computer crime chapter. C.B. 24-15 would add one, with an offence of unauthorized access to a protected computer system. The same committee did not recommend it in its current form in May 2026, saying some of this ground is left to the states, and we did not read state codes. Section 329 of Title 21 requires an operating licence to provide a communications service, a general rule that names neither VPNs nor proxies. Nothing we read registers, licenses or bans people who use them. Collect public pages and leave out names and numbers.

Micronesia proxy questions

A Micronesian IP address on a home or mobile line in the Federated States of Micronesia, which your requests leave from. Through it you can read resort rates in dollars, Pohnpei Port Authority notices and google.fm results from inside the country.

We have 53 residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. A rotating login is back on an address it has used before long, and because each one is somebody’s home line, the list shifts as people go on and off. One Manta Ray rate table, a Kosrae Village price or a single gl=fm search is the right size of job; high-volume collection does not fit. Mobile has no separate count, and the order page shows availability.

The -cc-fm login picks the country and nothing finer. Anything on offer below that level, where available, is listed in the dashboard generator. Check the place in our IP checker before relying on it, since most FSM Telecom blocks carry no city in GeoLite.

People there use FSM Telecom, under four ASNs, and iBoom! on a smaller scale, and home and phone exits come from those lines. No login can pick one, because ISP and carrier keys are offered for the US, the UK and Germany alone.

FSM Telecom, where the pool has mobile exits; the order page shows availability. We found no published shares by operator. FSMT Cable Corporation also names iBoom! and CPUC as providers of internet, phone and data services.

Micronesia has only these two, and the order page lists the countries with static IPs. Residential costs $0.50 per GB less and suits rate pages, port notices and search. Mobile fits pages built for phones, which made 69% of Micronesian page views in October 2026.

On the smallest order residential is $3.49 per GB, and at 1,000 GB or more it is $1.69. Mobile is $3.99 down to $2.19. In the countries on the order page, ISP IPs cost $4.00 and datacenter IPs $2.00 per month. All tiers and the free trial’s current terms are on the pricing page.

No. This key means the Federated States of Micronesia: Chuuk, Pohnpei, Yap and Kosrae. The same word names a wider Pacific region, and APNIC’s Micronesia group includes Kiribati, Nauru and the Marshall Islands. See all locations for what we sell.

None of the national texts we read registers, licenses or bans proxy or VPN use: Title 21 of the FSM Code, the 2014 telecom law and the cybercrime bill reported on in May 2026. We did not read state codes. Not legal advice.

An unknown operator runs the machine and can read or change what passes through it, logins included. A local line reports country FM and AS139759, AS38875, AS45193, AS58524 or AS142139, while a hosting company’s name in that field means a rented server.

Put host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-fm and your password into a browser extension, an app or an HTTP client. With -sid-pni01-time-3600 on the end of the username, one exit stays for an hour. SOCKS5 is in the docs.
