Property

Open bids with a closing time

Skyn, Betri Heim and Meklarin sell homes by area of the islands. On 5 November 2026 Skyn’s Ryskigøta 41 in Tórshavn, 286 m², suggested at 8,700,000 kr., went from a 9,000,000 kr. bid to 9,100,000 kr. within the day, with a new closing time of 14:30 on 9 November.

Vacancies tagged by region on ALS

ALS, the unemployment benefit scheme, gives each ad an employer, a posting date, a deadline and a region tag; on 5 November 2026, 42 of its 81 ads were tagged Suðurstreymoy. Count openings by tag and leave out contact names. Portal.fo sends readers to Størv.fo for all job ads.

Search and devices

StatCounter’s October 2026 figures give Google 89.95% of Faroese searches and 97.25% on phones, and Bing 16.57% on desktops. Phones made 57.54% of page views. For both engines, see SERP proxies.

Networks

Føroya Tele and Nema carry nearly every Faroese user

APNIC Labs credits Føroya Tele’s AS15389 with 82.13% of Faroese users and Nema’s AS20963 with 26.75%. Each share is a separate estimate, so together they pass 100%. The Telecommunications Authority counted 18,002 fixed broadband subscriptions at the end of 2025.

Users: APNIC Labs, 2 November 2026. IPv6: its per-network table to 3 November 2026. Both home networks sit far below the country’s 2.01%, so we infer that most of that figure comes from a satellite network left out here with the cloud networks. The Authority’s fixed counts lack Glotti, whose 2025 data it did not receive, and two operators whose data it was still processing. You can choose a network at login only in the US, the UK and Germany, so read the ASN in a lookup.

Mobile

Faroese mobile proxies and the shared Felagsnet radio network

Føroya Tele and Nema sell on one radio network. Felagsnet is owned and run by FT Samskifti on behalf of both, and the operators estimate that its 5G reaches 99.44% of the population.

For developers

One Faroese session and a parser for kr. prices

Each session holds one exit on -cc-fo for 30 minutes. The script skips any lookup that does not read FO, names the network from its ASN, and turns “1.795.000 kr.” and “Kr. 2.150.000” into integers.

A Faroese quirk

Suggested prices, live bids and three spellings of one region

The Faroese data act and the telecom act

The Act on the Protection of Personal Data, Løgtingslóg nr. 80 of 7 June 2020 (Dátuverndarlógin), amended by nr. 29 of 10 May 2024, has applied since 1 January 2021 under the supervision of Dátueftirlitið, the Data Protection Authority. Section 5 reaches controllers abroad that offer goods or services to people in the Faroe Islands or monitor their behaviour there, and section 78 sets a fine or up to six months in prison for listed breaches.

The Telecommunications Act, Løgtingslóg nr. 72 of 22 May 2015, last amended by nr. 42 of 16 May 2024, requires commercial providers of public networks and services to hold a licence (section 4). The words VPN and proxy do not appear in its Faroese text, and the texts we read set no registration, licence or ban for people who use them.

Not legal advice. We could not open the Faroese criminal code, so check its computer provisions yourself. We review scraping judgments from 2022 to 2026 in a separate guide.

Faroe Islands proxy questions

Your traffic leaves through a home or phone line on the islands, under a Faroese IP address. Use one to read Skyn and Betri Heim listings as a local visitor does, follow Keyp.fo leaflets, or check what a search from the Faroe Islands returns.

We quote none, since no per-country count is published for the Faroe Islands. Faroese home connections are in the pool, and the order page tells you what is available, mobile included.

Regions and towns, where available, are in the dashboard generator; the login itself stops at the country, -cc-fo. City data varies by database, so open the exit in our IP checker before you depend on a place.

Households and phones on Føroya Tele and Nema, the two networks that carry nearly all Faroese users. On mobile the two brands share one radio network, Felagsnet, and exits use them where the pool has them; the order page shows availability. You cannot pick one at login, because network keys exist for the US, the UK and Germany alone.

Those are registered holders. AS15389 belongs to P/F Telefonverkid, which trades as Føroya Tele, and AS20963 to NEMA P/F 20.11.19. The regulator says Nema was previously called Hey / Vodafone, and PeeringDB still has that network as Vodafone Faroe Island. Match on the ASN, as the Python tab does.

Those two are the options here; the order page lists the countries with static IPs. Residential is enough for listings, leaflets and search. With phones on 57.54% of Faroese page views in October 2026, a phone layout is the main reason to pay the extra $0.50 per GB for mobile.

Residential runs from $3.49 per GB on the smallest tier to $1.69 on the largest, and mobile from $3.99 to $2.19. See the pricing page for every tier and the current free trial terms.

The Faroese texts we read set no registration, licence or ban for people using proxies or VPNs; the licence in section 4 of the Telecommunications Act is for commercial providers. The data act covers personal details you collect, so store prices and leave names out. We could not open the criminal code. Not legal advice.

Whoever runs one can read or change what passes through it, logins included, and you rarely know who that is. AS15389 or AS20963 with country FO means a Faroese line; a hosting firm in that field means a rented machine.

Host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-fo and your password go into any browser extension, app or HTTP client. Ending the username in -sid-thn01-time-1800 holds one exit for 30 minutes. The docs cover SOCKS5.
