Census 2020: Information & eGovernment Authority; towns by governorate as citypopulation.de lists them. Lookups call the Capital Governorate “Manama” and spell towns as GeoNames does: “Al Muharraq”, “Jidd Ḩafş”, “Madīnat Ḩamad”. Exit towns also include Seef, Adliya, Tubli, Sanad, Salmabad, Barbar, Karbabad, Dumistan, Al Jasrah, Az Zallaq and Al Hamalah. Look an exit up in our IP checker before you count on its town, since databases disagree at that level.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonLaw No. 30 of 2018 on Personal Data Protection, promulgated on 12 July 2018, has applied since 1 August 2019. Processing needs the person’s consent or a ground in article 4, such as a contract or a legitimate interest that does not override their rights. Personal data may leave Bahrain only for countries on the Authority’s list, with its authorisation, or under the exemptions of article 13; breaches carry up to a year in prison and/or BD 1,000 to 20,000 (article 58), doubled for companies (article 59). Decree 78 of 2019 handed the Personal Data Protection Authority’s functions to the Ministry of Justice until the Authority has its own budget and board.
Law No. 60 of 2014 on information technology crimes punishes entering an IT system without legal justification with up to a year in prison and/or up to BD 30,000 (article 2). Ads on OpenSooq or dubizzle often show names and phone numbers; leave them out of what you collect. VPN and proxy use is not regulated by either law, and we found no Bahraini rule that requires registration or a licence for it.
Not legal advice. See our summary of scraping cases, 2022–2026.Join @aeonprox, link our bot and test residential or mobile proxies for 72 hours. No card needed.
With a Bahrain proxy your requests go out from an address on Batelco, stc or Zain, and websites see a visitor in Bahrain. Use one for dinar prices on OpenSooq, dubizzle and Property Finder, Gulf Air fares, google.com.bh rankings and checks of your own Bahraini pages.
344K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026; the figure rises and falls with the households online. Mobile is not counted. Its exits run on Batelco, stc and Zain where the pool has them, and you can see today’s stock on the order page.
Targeting is by country, -cc-bh, and the dashboard generator lists the governorates and towns on offer, where available. You can also filter on the region ipinfo.io reports: Manama for the Capital Governorate, Muharraq, Northern for Hamad Town and A’ali, and Southern Governorate for Riffa and Isa Town. Our IP checker shows the town each exit is placed in.
Households and phones in Bahrain, on the networks people there use: Batelco, stc Bahrain and Zain Bahrain, which carry 87.88% of Bahraini internet users in APNIC’s estimate, plus smaller ISPs such as Kalaam Telecom, Nuetel and Etisalcom. Logins can name a carrier only in the US, the UK and Germany; in Bahrain the ASN tells you the operator.
Beyon is the group behind Batelco, and AS5416 is registered as BEYON B.S.C., so lookups print that name. The hostnames of those addresses can still end in batelco.com.bh. An exit on AS5416 is a Batelco line.
Classifieds, prices and search results run well on rotating residential exits. Mobile, at $0.50 more per GB, is for app tests and phone layouts, and in Bahrain that means iPhones first: iOS had 53.28% of mobile traffic in September 2026. Rent an ISP proxy for one static IP over the whole rental, for your own accounts within each platform’s rules; Bahraini stock is on the order page.
Bahrain has no law aimed at VPN or proxy use that we could find. Entering an IT system without legal justification is a crime under article 2 of Law No. 60 of 2014, and personal data you collect falls under Law No. 30 of 2018, which limits transfers abroad. Not legal advice.
Whoever runs a free proxy is a stranger to you and can watch and record all your traffic. A genuine Bahraini home or phone address is on AS5416, AS51375, AS31452 or a small local ISP; one on a cloud or hosting network is a data-centre machine. Keep logins away from it.
Point your browser extension, app or script at gate.aeonproxy.com on port 7000 as an HTTP proxy, with the user name ap_a1b2c3-cc-bh plus your password. Append -sid-mnm01-time-3600 to keep one exit for an hour. For SOCKS5, read the docs; the pricing page shows what the free trial includes today.
Bahraini operators quote dinar prices to the third decimal: Batelco’s home internet starts at BD 14.500 and Zain’s Fiber Cash plan is BD 9.500 a month. Parse all three digits and note whether the 10% VAT is included.
Mostly Batelco. APNIC counts 47.06% of its users as IPv6-capable, against 0.15% on stc and 0.19% on Zain; the country as a whole stood at 20.68% on 30 October 2026.
