34K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, on Swisscom, Sunrise, Salt and smaller cable and fibre networks such as Quickline. A GB of residential traffic costs from $1.69, a GB of mobile from $2.19. Seven canton keys and eight city keys, from Zürich and Geneva to Lugano, follow -cc-ch in the login where available.

Zürich, Geneva, Basel, Lausanne, Bern, Winterthur, St. Gallen and Lugano, where available, plus seven canton keys.
With a session key, one Swiss exit stays yours for up to 6 hours, set in seconds. Without it, each request takes a new address.

Galaxus is the most visited shop in Switzerland. Similarweb ranked it seventh among all Swiss websites in September 2026 and first in e-commerce, ahead of the auction site Ricardo, amazon.de, the classifieds site Tutti and the retailer Migros. Comparis and Toppreise head its price-comparison list.
The only Amazon store in the Swiss rankings is amazon.de, 21st among all sites. Swiss shops quote prices in francs, and a Swiss household exit gets the offers, delivery terms and stock shown to Swiss visitors.
Google handled 80.21% of Swiss searches in September 2026 and Bing 12.11% (StatCounter). On phones Bing had 0.64%: nearly all of its share comes from computers, which produced 51.68% of Swiss page views that month. A Swiss rank check covers Bing on desktop and Google on both; the SERP proxy page has the setup.
Switzerland had 9,127,125 residents at the end of 2025, 17.9% of them in the canton of Zurich. Canton keys follow the English names in geolocation data (Zurich, Geneva, Saint Gallen), while ipinfo.io prints the city as Zürich, with the umlaut.

Residents: BFS, permanent resident population by commune. Aargau, fourth among the cantons with 743,768 residents, has a canton key, -st-aargau, but no city key. Exits also come from smaller towns such as Chur, Sion, Zug, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Bellinzona. Lookups name suburbs and towns on their own (Opfikon, Uster, Prilly, Meyrin), and geolocation databases disagree at city level. Check an exit’s city in our IP checker before relying on it.
APNIC Labs estimates that Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt reach 84.84% of Swiss internet users. In ComCom’s figures for the end of 2024, Swisscom held about 47% of fixed broadband, Sunrise 28%, Salt 6% and Quickline 4.5%.

Users: APNIC Labs, 27 October 2026. IPv6: APNIC’s Swiss per-network table, read 29 October 2026 (for Quickline and netplus, the larger network). APNIC also counts hosting networks such as GTHost (2.56%) and Datacamp (2.16%) and a Proton VPN network; an address there belongs to a server. Only US, UK and German logins take network keys; to tell Swisscom from Sunrise here, read the org field of each exit.

Keys follow -cc-ch in lowercase ASCII with no spaces or dots: -st-saintgallen, -city-stgallen, -city-zurich. Lookups print Zürich with an umlaut, so the script turns every returned name into key form before comparing, and only once the country reads CH.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonIn a 2023 BFS survey, 61% of residents named German as a main language, 23% French, 8% Italian and 0.5% Romansh; people could name more than one. Inside each language region nearly everyone uses that language regularly: 94% in the German-speaking part, 97% in the French-speaking part and 98% in the Italian-speaking part.
The rankings show the same split. srf.ch is the tenth most visited Swiss site and rts.ch, Radio Télévision Suisse in French, the 39th. jobs.ch leads the job sites, and jobup.ch, which lists jobs in French-speaking Switzerland, is fifth.
A Swiss exit settles the country. For French or Italian pages, set the language as well: hl=fr or hl=it on Google, the language switch on Swiss sites, and a city key in that region. French is the official language of the canton of Geneva (its constitution, Art. 5) and Italian the main language of Ticino; -city-geneva and -city-lugano cover those two markets.
The revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, SR 235.1) has applied since 1 September 2023, with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) as supervisor. Names, phone numbers and profiles on Swiss listings stay personal data when they are public, so collect prices, stock and listings and leave the people out. On complaint, Article 60 fines private persons up to CHF 250,000 for wilfully breaching their duties to inform, give access or cooperate.
Nothing we read in Swiss law registers, licenses or bans VPN or proxy use. The Federal Council is reworking a revision of the telecom surveillance ordinances (VÜPF) after its 2025 consultation; the industry body Swico wrote in July 2026 that it would hit VPN services in particular, and a second consultation is still to come. Swiss access providers must also block, at DNS level, the money-game domains on the lists Gespa and the ESBK publish; reaching them through a proxy is not a supported use.

For Galaxus and Ricardo price tracking, ImmoScout24 listings or tests of your own Swiss pages in German, French or Italian, your requests need to come from Switzerland. A Switzerland proxy gives them a Swiss exit address, and sites answer with franc prices and the offers meant for Swiss buyers.
34K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. Swiss mobile IPs have no published count; mobile exits run on Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt where the pool has them, and the order page has current availability.
Yes, where available. Cantons: -st-zurich, -st-bern, -st-vaud, -st-aargau, -st-geneva, -st-saintgallen, -st-ticino. Cities: -city-zurich, -city-geneva, -city-basel, -city-lausanne, -city-bern, -city-winterthur, -city-stgallen, -city-lugano. Lucerne has neither. Geolocation databases disagree about towns, so look up each exit’s city in our IP checker before relying on it.
Canton keys use the English names in geolocation data, where the canton is Saint Gallen; the city key follows the town’s own spelling, St. Gallen. Keys keep lowercase letters and digits only, so spaces and dots drop out and ü becomes u: Zürich is zurich.
In APNIC’s estimate Swisscom reaches 46.86% of Swiss internet users, Sunrise 28.80% and Salt 9.18%, and the exits come from homes and phones on those networks and on cable and fibre networks such as Quickline, netplus, iWay and WWZ. Choosing a network by key works in the US, the UK and Germany only; in Switzerland you sort exits by the ASN in the lookup.
Set the language yourself. Use the site’s language switch or Google’s hl=de, hl=fr or hl=it, and where the place matters add a city key from that language region, such as -city-geneva for French or -city-lugano for Italian.
Rotating residential exits are enough for prices, listings and search results. Take mobile exits on Swisscom, Sunrise or Salt for app checks and phone layouts, and start with an iPhone: iOS carries 55.09% of Swiss mobile traffic. For your own accounts, used within each platform’s rules, a static ISP IP keeps one Swiss address; check Swiss stock on the order page.
We found nothing in Swiss law against using a proxy or VPN, and no licence or registration requirement. A revision of the surveillance ordinances, which Swico says would hit VPN services, is still being reworked. The FADP covers personal data you collect, site terms apply, and blocked money-game domains are not a supported use. Not legal advice.
A free “Swiss” proxy may be a server: APNIC’s Swiss table includes hosting networks such as GTHost (2.56%) and Datacamp (2.16%). Its operator, whom you cannot check, also sees and can store everything you send through it. Look any exit up in our IP checker, and keep passwords off free proxies.
Any browser extension, app or HTTP client that takes an HTTP proxy will do. Give it host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, the login ap_a1b2c3-cc-ch, plus any canton, city or session keys, and your password; the Python tab shows the same in code, and the docs explain SOCKS5. Current free-trial terms are on the pricing page.
