Puerto Rico proxies for ClasificadosOnline listings, Spanish-language ads and US shops as the island sees them

Puerto Rican home connections are in the pool, on Liberty and Claro lines, with DM Wireless, Aeronet and other local ISPs behind them. Prices run from $3.49 per GB on a small residential order to $1.69 on the largest, and from $3.99 to $2.19 on mobile. -cc-pr is a login key of its own, separate from the US one, and the dashboard generator lists the municipios and towns on offer.

Why Puerto Rico

Island classifieds next to the big US shops

Classifieds

ClasificadosOnline, behind only Amazon in shopping

Ahrefs ranks clasificadosonline.com 8th for October 2026 by estimated search traffic, and second in shopping. Similarweb’s September 2026 list has it 19th overall and third in e-commerce.

US shops

amazon.com, walmart.com and ebay.com in the top 20

They are 7th, 17th and 18th by the same Ahrefs measure. Log the delivery terms, stock and tax line each shows a visitor on the island. Hacienda, the tax department, says a buyer charged no IVU sales tax online must pay it when the item arrives.

Search

Bing has over a third of desktops

Google took 84.58% of Puerto Rican searches in October 2026 and Bing 12.42% (StatCounter). Desktops gave Google 58.25% and Bing 35.74%. 54.19% of page views came from phones, where Android has 56.12%. SERP proxies covers both engines.

Coverage

San Juan, Bayamón, Carolina and the next Puerto Rican municipios

The US Census Bureau estimates 3,184,835 residents on 1 July 2025, down from an April 2020 base of 3,285,874, across 78 municipios. San Juan, Bayamón and Carolina hold 20.73% of them. A login selects the whole island with -cc-pr; the dashboard generator shows which municipios and towns are on offer.

Population: US Census Bureau, Vintage 2025 municipio estimates. Where available, exits also come from places such as Río Grande (44,799), Morovis (28,170) and Utuado (26,894). Lookups print the municipio as the region. On 5 November 2026 we looked up 24 random addresses on five local networks at ipinfo.io, outside our gateway, so this says nothing about our pool: 16 read San Juan with postal code 00901. Open an exit in our IP checker before you rely on its town.

Networks

Liberty and Claro, then the island’s smaller ISPs

Exits come from homes and phones on these networks. Liberty and Claro hold most Puerto Rican users in APNIC’s estimate, and wireless ISPs make up the tail: DM Wireless says its wireless service reaches 75 of the 78 municipios.

Users: APNIC Labs, 2 November 2026, 87 networks adding up to 118.01%. IPv6: APNIC’s per-network table to 3 November 2026. Liberty’s Puerto Rico segment reported 492,200 internet and 679,300 mobile subscribers at the end of 2025. We could not open a regulator’s table of shares. T-Mobile, also a phone brand on the island, has no row here; GeoLite files 7 of its AS21928 IPv4 blocks in Puerto Rico and 2,101 in the US. Satellite, hosting and cloud networks are left out. Network keys are for US, UK and German logins only; a lookup’s ASN tells these networks apart.

For developers

Keep exits that read PR, then name the network

A 30-minute session on -cc-pr. The script opens a new one whenever a lookup’s country is anything other than PR, names the network from its ASN and requests one page with Spanish and English headers.

import requests, uuid
GATE = "gate.aeonproxy.com:7000"
# -cc-pr is a key of its own. GeoLite still files a few island blocks under other places,
# and Claro prints as DATACOM CARIBE, so test the country field and name the network by ASN.
NET = {"AS14638": "Liberty", "AS11992": "Liberty Mobile", "AS10396": "Claro", "AS53764": "DM Wireless",

A Puerto Rican quirk

US dollars, US shops and a country code of its own

Prices on the island are in US dollars, and of the 99 sites Ahrefs prints in its top 100, four end in .pr: metro.pr, dde.pr, shop.pr and ikea.pr. Lookups treat the island apart: the 24 island-network addresses we looked up on ipinfo.io all read country PR and time zone America/Puerto_Rico, with ZIP codes such as 00901, 00680 and 00716.

GeoLite is less tidy: it files 248 IPv4 blocks of Liberty’s AS14638 in Puerto Rico, 11 in the US Virgin Islands and 4 in the US. Test the country field on each session.

Search differs from the US too. On desktops Bing has about twice its US share, and across all Puerto Rican devices it rose from 8.03% to 12.42% in twelve months.

Language depends on the site. Aeronet opens in English with Spanish at /es, ikea.pr opens in Spanish with English in its menu, and DM Wireless and LUMA, the grid operator, offer both. Store the language that came back with each page.

US federal law and Puerto Rico’s own data and computer rules

Federal computer law reaches the island: 18 U.S.C. § 1030 defines a State to include the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and a first offence under (a)(2), obtaining information from a protected computer without authorisation, carries a fine, up to one year in prison, or both. Article 172 of the Penal Code (Ley 146 of 2012) sets a fixed three years for taking, using or altering someone’s reserved personal data in computer files, without authority and to the harm of that person or a third party.

Ley 111 of 2005 requires owners and custodians of data banks holding residents’ personal information to notify them of a breach and to tell the Departamento de Asuntos del Consumidor (DACO) within ten days, with fines of $500 to $5,000 per violation. The only VPN wording we found is Article 7(5) of Ley 40 of 2024, on government cybersecurity, which routes remote access to government networks through a VPN the government contracts. The texts we read set no registration, licence or ban for private proxy or VPN users; the telecoms regulator’s site would not open. Betting falls under the Comisión de Juegos (Ley 81 of 2019), and betting sites are not supported.

Not legal advice. We read the Puerto Rican acts in Spanish. Scraping rulings since 2022 are in our court-case guide.

Puerto Rico proxy questions

Your requests leave through a home or mobile line on the island, so sites answer as they would a visitor there. A Puerto Rican IP address helps with reading ClasificadosOnline and shop.pr, checking your own ads on Primera Hora and following gl=pr search results.

No per-country count is published for Puerto Rico, so we print none. Home connections are in the pool, and the order page shows availability before you buy.

A login here picks the island as a whole, -cc-pr; any municipios and towns on offer are in the dashboard generator, where available. Check the exit in our IP checker before you depend on a town, because databases disagree at that level and lookups of island addresses often print San Juan.

Homes and phones on Liberty and Claro, and on smaller ISPs such as DM Wireless and Aeronet. AS10396 is registered as Datacom Caribe, Inc., and PeeringDB names it Claro Puerto Rico. Some Liberty Mobile addresses have centennialpr.net host names. A login cannot choose a network, since those keys are for the US, the UK and Germany.

Mobile exits use Liberty, Claro and T-Mobile where the pool has them, and the order page shows availability. A login cannot choose among them.

-cc-pr is a separate key, and island addresses read country PR in lookups. For an exit that reads US, see the US proxies page. A phone on T-Mobile may read differently, because GeoLite files most of that network in the US, so test the country field.

On the island the choice is residential or mobile; the order page lists the countries with static IPs. Residential is cheaper and suits classifieds, shop prices and desktop search, where Bing’s share is high. To see pages as phones get them, pay $0.50 more per GB for mobile.

A GB of residential costs $3.49 at the smallest tier and $1.69 at the largest; a GB of mobile, $3.99 and $2.19. Every tier and the current free trial terms are on the pricing page.

The Puerto Rican and federal texts we read do not license or ban private proxy or VPN use. 18 U.S.C. § 1030 and Article 172 of the Penal Code cover access without authorisation and personal data in computer files, so collect public prices and leave names and numbers out. Not legal advice.

You rarely know who runs one, and that person can read or change your traffic, logins included. Look the address up first: AS14638 or AS10396 with country PR points to an island line. Datacamp or Cyberzone, which also appear in APNIC’s table for Puerto Rico, point to a rented server.

A browser extension, app or HTTP client needs host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-pr and your password. For one exit over an hour, make the username ap_a1b2c3-cc-pr-sid-sju01-time-3600. The docs explain SOCKS5.
