Maltese shops write in English and price in euros, and the property portals and news sites publish in English too. In Ahrefs’ October 2026 ranking by estimated organic search traffic, Times of Malta is 4th among all sites and MaltaToday 9th. Shopping is led by yellow.com.mt, 21st overall, with Shein, Amazon and Temu behind it and local shops such as Megastore, 72nd, further down.
Delivery terms sit on the home pages too. Megastore ships free from €25 and has an IKEA Products section; Topchoice delivers free on orders of €50 or more, and Klikk advertises free same-day delivery. PropertyMarket showed over 10,000 apartments for sale from 25 or more agents and 2,135 penthouses on 3 November 2026.
Bing is the second engine: 10.54% of Maltese searches in October 2026 and 22.25% of those on desktops, while Google holds 97.82% on phones (StatCounter). SERP proxies explains checking both engines.
Eurostat puts Malta at 588,254 residents on 1 January 2026. At the end of 2024 Malta island held 532,997 and Gozo with Comino 41,253. The country key -cc-mt is the only one a login takes here, and the dashboard generator shows which towns are on offer.

Town figures: National Statistics Office, as tabulated by citypopulation.de; region names: GeoNames. Fgura, Tarxien and Gżira also appear among the places exits come from, where available. Geolocation databases can disagree on a town, so look the exit up in our IP checker before relying on it.
In APNIC’s estimates GO reaches 58.09% of Maltese users, Melita 48.68% and Epic 16.07%, and every other network in the table is at 0.20% or below. Those three shares add up to 122.84%, so read them as relative sizes. The regulator ranks them differently: Epic first in mobile, GO and Melita close in fixed lines.

Users: APNIC Labs, 1 November 2026; IPv6: APNIC to 2 November 2026. Mobile and fixed shares are worked out from the MCA’s subscription counts; Vanilla Telecoms has the remaining 0.1% of fixed internet. Starlink, the MITA government network, the University of Malta and hosting names such as HostRoyale, Datacamp and M247 are left out. Maltese logins take no network key (those exist for the US, the UK and Germany); read the ASN in a lookup.
The MCA counted 827,776 mobile subscriptions at the end of March 2026, a penetration rate of 140%. Postpaid lines, 471,853, outnumber the 355,923 prepaid ones.
MCA, key market indicators Q1 2022 to Q1 2026 (data cut-off 16 June 2026). In fixed internet, fibre has 123,275 of 245,743 subscriptions, mostly GO’s 107,082, and cable 104,489, all Melita’s.

Ranks: Ahrefs Top, Malta, October 2026, by estimated organic search traffic; it has no real estate list for Malta. MaltaPark, PropertyMarket and RE/MAX Malta are outside its top 100. Each site’s terms apply; keep to public pages, signed out.
The loop opens 30-minute sessions on -cc-mt, drops exits outside MT, names the network from its ASN and turns Maltese place names into the English forms. It stops when it has GO, Melita and Epic, for instance to compare one price across them.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonMalta has three mobile operators, and two of them announced an agreement to combine in September 2026. Keep the ASN with each record, so your history stays readable if brands or holders change.
Monaco Telecom has owned Epic, formerly known as Vodafone, since 2020. AS33874 still carries the registry handle VFM-AS.
Infrastructure at Goldman Sachs Alternatives has owned Melita since 2025.
Epic and Melita together held 529,937 of 827,776 mobile subscriptions, 64.02%. GO had the other 297,839.
Melita agreed to acquire 100% of Epic’s shares from Monaco Telecom. Until regulatory approvals are obtained, the two work independently (MaltaToday).
ipinfo.io printed “AS33874 Epic Communications Limited” and “AS12709 Melita Limited” separately. We had seen no regulator’s decision on the deal by this date.
The GDPR applies with the Data Protection Act (Cap. 586, Act XX of 2018), and the Information and Data Protection Commissioner enforces both. Keep sellers’ and agents’ personal details out of anything you collect from public ads.
Article 337C of the Criminal Code (Cap. 9) makes it an offence to use a computer, without authorisation, to access data held on it or on another computer, or to copy that data elsewhere. Article 337F sets a fine of up to €23,293.73, up to four years in prison, or both. We found no rule on proxy or VPN use in these acts. The Gaming Act (Cap. 583) sets up the Malta Gaming Authority, and gambling sites are not a supported use.

A Maltese line on GO, Melita or Epic carries your requests, so local sites answer as they would to someone on the island. You need one to read MaltaPark and PropertyMarket listings, compare euro prices at Homemate or Klikk, or check google.com.mt results and your own Maltese ads.
10K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, a number that shifts as home connections come and go. We publish no mobile IP count. Mobile exits are on Epic, GO and Melita where the pool has them, and you can see availability on the order page.
Maltese logins choose the country, -cc-mt. Towns on offer, where available, appear in the dashboard generator. We make no promise of a particular town or of Gozo, so open each exit in our IP checker and read where it lands.
Homes and phones on GO, Melita and Epic, the only networks above 0.20% in APNIC’s Maltese table. The login cannot pick one, because network keys are for the US, the UK and Germany only. The ASN in a lookup tells you which it is: AS15735, AS12709 or AS33874.
Malta’s towns have Maltese and English names, and lookups mix them. One address can show city San Pawl il-Baħar with region Saint Paul’s Bay, and another city Sliema with region Tas-Sliema. GeoNames also prints L-Imsida for Msida and Il-Mosta for Mosta. The Python tab maps these before comparing.
Both are on sale for Malta; static ISP and datacenter IPs are limited to the countries the order page lists. Take rotating residential for listings, shop prices and search results. Mobile is $0.50 dearer per GB and fits app tests and phone layouts: phones produced 47.13% of Maltese page views in October 2026, split almost evenly between Android and iOS.
Residential starts at $3.49 per GB and reaches $1.69 from 1,000 GB. Mobile starts at $3.99 and reaches $2.19. One rate applies to the whole order, and unused traffic stays on the account. Every tier is on the pricing page.
We found nothing in the Data Protection Act, the Criminal Code or the Gaming Act that registers, licenses or bans proxies or VPNs. What they do cover applies to you: access without authorisation under Article 337C, and the GDPR for personal data you collect. Not legal advice.
Assume not: whoever runs one can log every request and password you send through it. A real Maltese home line resolves to AS15735, AS12709 or AS33874 with country MT. Clouvider, Datacamp, M247 or HostRoyale in the lookup means a server in a rack, and those names do turn up in APNIC’s Maltese table.
Enter host gate.aeonproxy.com and port 7000 as an HTTP proxy, with username ap_a1b2c3-cc-mt and your password. Add -sid-mla01-time-7200 to the username for two hours on one exit. The docs cover SOCKS5, and a free trial exists, with today’s terms on the pricing page.
The agreement was announced on 16 September 2026, and the companies said they would work independently until regulatory approvals are obtained. We had seen no regulator’s decision by 3 November 2026, when lookups still showed AS12709 and AS33874 as separate networks. Filter by ASN and review your mapping if a holder name changes.
