Shopping

Few .li addresses in the list

Ahrefs’ October 2026 list for Liechtenstein, by estimated organic search traffic, has 39 .de and 19 .ch domains among its 100, and 7 ending in .li. Its shopping filter runs idealo.de, galaxus.ch, smythstoys.com, shopping-buchs.ch.

Franc prices

Local plans in CHF

FL1’s LIFE! XS and FREE! XS both cost 19.90 a month, and the 7acht 19 plan costs 19. Hoi! advertises 10 Gbit/s from CHF 39.95, and Supranet 500 Mbit/s for CHF 59. Keep a dated copy of each price with its data or speed.

Jobs and press

Openings and local coverage

liechtensteinjobs.li showed 1’447 jobs on 5 November 2026. Vaterland, which calls itself the country’s largest daily by circulation, has a classifieds section, and lie:zeit covers Liechtenstein and the Rhine valley.

Search and devices

Bing’s share on desktops

StatCounter gives Google 77.03% of Liechtenstein searches in October 2026, Bing 17.27% and DuckDuckGo 4.12%. On desktops Bing reaches 25.14%, while phones give Google 96.79%. iOS holds 70.54% of mobile traffic, and 60.47% of all page views come from desktops. To track two engines, see SERP proxies.

Coverage

Schaan, Vaduz and Triesen, then the other eight communes

The country had 41,237 residents at the end of 2025: 26,270 in the Oberland and 14,967 in the Unterland. Schaan is larger than the capital, Vaduz, and the two hold 30.08% of the total. Logins choose the country with -cc-li and go no further; which communes and towns are on offer is shown in the dashboard generator.

Preliminary Amt für Statistik estimates of 31 December 2025, as printed by City Population, because the office’s own portal would not open for us. Postcodes have four digits, such as 9490 for Vaduz and 9494 for Schaan. An exit sits in a given commune only where available, and GeoLite prints no town at all for FL1’s blocks, so check the place in our IP checker first.

Networks

FL1 leads, with Supranet, vestra, Hoi! and Dorfnetz behind it

APNIC Labs puts FL1, the brand of Telecom Liechtenstein, on 61.90% of users. The next four have between 2,786 and 4,815 users each on its estimate. Its tables have no row for 7acht, the brand of Salt (Liechtenstein) AG, or for Swisscom. A post on the Operator Watch blog of 21 March 2024 counted both, with Telecom Liechtenstein, as the country’s three mobile networks; it is our only source for a Swisscom network there.

Users: APNIC Labs, 2 November 2026, each share its own estimate. IPv6: its table to 3 November 2026. QualityNet (1.41%) and Speedcom (1.35%) come next. Hosting names (Datacamp, Clouvider, M247) and company networks (Hilti, thyssenkrupp Presta) are left out. The regulator’s market share file would not open, so no mobile shares appear here. ISP and carrier keys are limited to US, UK and German logins; read the ASN in a lookup instead.

For developers

Accept only LI readings, then load a Swiss shop

Each try opens a half-hour session on -cc-li. Anything that does not read LI gets dropped; the rest is labelled by ASN and used to request Galaxus with a German language header.

import requests, uuid
GATE = "gate.aeonproxy.com:7000"
# Country key only. GeoLite gives FL1 blocks no town and places 185.213.56.0/22 in
# Switzerland, so accept an address on its country field and leave the town open.
OPERATOR = {"AS20634": "FL1", "AS15955": "Supranet", "AS204342": "vestra", "AS35223": "Hoi!",

GERMAN = {"Accept-Language": "de-LI,de;q=0.9"}

def open_li(rounds=6):
    for _ in range(rounds):
        key = uuid.uuid4().hex[:8]
        url = f"http://ap_a1b2c3-cc-li-sid-{key}-time-1800:PASS@{GATE}"
        routes = {"http": url, "https": url}
        try:
            where = requests.get("https://ipinfo.io/json", proxies=routes, timeout=15).json()
        except requests.RequestException:
            continue # nothing back: new session
        if where.get("country") != "LI":
            continue # a Swiss reading or similar: skip it
        where["operator"] = OPERATOR.get(where.get("org", "").split(" ")[0], where.get("org"))
        return routes, where # valid for half an hour
    return None, None # no address free: retry later

routes, where = open_li()
if routes:
    print(where["ip"], where["operator"], where.get("city") or "no town given")
    shop = requests.get("https://www.galaxus.ch/", headers=GERMAN, proxies=routes, timeout=20)
    print(shop.status_code, "CHF" in shop.text)

The town may print as empty on FL1, and the script allows for that. With 53 addresses a run can end with nothing, so retry after a pause. Session times run from 60 to 21600 seconds, and leaving out -sid- gives a new address per request.

Customs

Swiss customs, Swiss francs and German shops as imports

A treaty of 1923 made Liechtenstein part of the Swiss customs territory, and the Swiss franc is its legal currency. Its own VAT act sets a standard rate of 8.1%.

A parcel from a German shop is therefore an import. Liechtensteinische Post collects the charges for the Swiss customs office: import tax on the goods’ value including shipping, and customs duty by gross weight. It tells buyers that an order from a foreign shop should not carry that country’s VAT, or they risk paying twice. Compare a German shop’s total for a Liechtenstein address with its domestic price, and store the tax line and shipping cost beside each.

Phone prefixes mislead as well. FL1 sells LIFE! plans on +423 numbers and FREE! plans for people bringing a Swiss +41 number, and 7acht young gives unlimited data in both countries.

The 2018 data act and Section 118a of the Criminal Code

The Datenschutzgesetz of 4 October 2018 (LGBl. 2018 Nr. 272) carries out the GDPR in Liechtenstein, and its Article 9 names the Datenschutzstelle as supervisor. Job ads and classifieds carry names and numbers, which are personal data; leave them out of what you record.

Section 118a of the Criminal Code, in the version of 1 August 2026, covers getting into someone else’s computer system by overcoming a specific security measure, with intent to obtain protected personal data or to cause harm. The penalty is up to six months in prison or a fine of up to 360 daily rates. The data act, the Criminal Code and the Communications Act set no registration, licence or ban for proxy or VPN users; the last mentions services for virtual networks only as part of wholesale access between companies (Article 3). Under Article 60 of the Geldspielgesetz, running online gambling commercially or publicly needs a government concession, and gambling sites are not supported.

Not legal advice. We read these acts in German on the government’s Lilex database. Scraping rulings from 2022 to 2026 are in our court-case guide.

Liechtenstein proxy questions

Your traffic goes out through a Liechtenstein IP address on a home or mobile line, for example on FL1, and a site then treats you as a visitor from there. Use one to see what Galaxus or idealo.de show a buyer in the country, or to follow google.li results.

There are 53 residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, few enough that rotation brings the same addresses back quickly. They are home lines and the set shifts during the day, so an address you saw at noon may be gone by evening. Use it for a Galaxus price or a google.li result, one at a time. A run of thousands of pages would just cycle through the same 53.

A login stops at the country. Any communes and towns on offer show in the dashboard generator, where available. Open the exit in our IP checker before you rely on its town: GeoLite prints none for FL1’s blocks, and it puts nearly all of Dorfnetz’s in Eschen.

Households and phones on FL1, Supranet, vestra, Hoi! and Dorfnetz, the five largest in APNIC’s table. You cannot pick among them at login. Network keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany, so read the ASN once connected.

FL1 and 7acht sell mobile plans under their own names. Swisscom as a third network rests on one source, an Operator Watch blog post of 21 March 2024, and we did not read Swisscom’s offer for the country. Mobile exits run on the country’s networks where the pool has them, and the order page shows availability.

This country has those two, and the order page names the places where static IPs are sold. Residential is cheaper and covers shops, press and search. Phone layouts are the case for mobile, at $0.50 more per GB: phones made 38.98% of page views in October 2026, most of them on iOS.

Residential is $3.49 per GB at the first tier, falling to $1.69 at the last. Mobile goes from $3.99 to $2.19. ISP and datacenter IPs, at $4.00 and $2.00 a month, are for the countries on the order page. See the pricing page for all tiers and the free trial’s current terms.

Pick the country whose buyers you want to see: the keys are separate, and Swiss addresses are on our Switzerland page. GeoLite reads one FL1 block, 185.213.56.0/22, as Switzerland, along with small slices of vestra and Dorfnetz. To stay strict, test for LI in the country field, as the Python tab does.

The data act, the Criminal Code and the Communications Act, which we read in German, contain no licence, registration or ban for proxies or VPNs. Section 118a applies to breaking into protected systems, and the GDPR to personal data you collect. Not legal advice.

Treat them as untrusted: an unknown operator can log or alter your traffic, and your passwords with it. A lookup helps. AS20634, AS15955 or AS35223 with country LI indicates a local line, while Datacamp, Clouvider or M247, hosting names also in APNIC’s table, indicate a rented server.

Your browser extension, app or HTTP client needs host gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-li and your password. To hold one address for an hour, append -sid-vdz01-time-3600 to the username. Our docs explain SOCKS5.
