Taobao, Carousell and HKTVmall
Similarweb’s e-commerce list for September 2026 runs taobao.com, carousell.com.hk, amazon.com, hktvmall.com and price.com.hk. Taobao and Amazon are foreign stores, so include cross-border offers in a local price check.
Hong Kong home connections are in the pool, on HKT, HKBN, HGC and HK Cable lines. Residential traffic costs $3.49 per GB on small orders and $1.69 on the largest; mobile runs from $3.99 to $2.19. Logins carry -cc-hk, and the districts on offer are listed in the dashboard generator.
OFCA, June 2026: fibre to the home in 80.2% of households and to the building in 9.9%.
APNIC Labs, 1 November 2026: 17.51% on HKT’s Netvigator network and 12.10% on HKBN.

The real estate list opens with centanet.com, 28hse.com, midland.com.hk, house730.com and ricacorp.com. The agents’ sites also publish transaction records and estate pages, so recorded sales can go next to asking prices.
Similarweb ranks google.com.hk sixth among all sites. Google took 89.59% of searches in October 2026, Bing 4.56% and Yahoo 3.92% (StatCounter), and on desktops Bing reaches 11.88%. Rank checks are covered under SERP proxies.
openrice.com is 35th among all sites and trip.com 19th. Deliveroo set 7 April 2025 as the end of its Hong Kong service, which left foodpanda and Keeta as the two large delivery platforms (The Standard, March 2025).
The 2021 census counted 7,411,945 people on land, and the official provisional figure for mid-2026 is 7,518,300. The New Territories hold 53.75% of the census total, Kowloon 30.12% and Hong Kong Island 16.13%. Where available, exits also come from places such as Kowloon Tong, Kai Tak, Ho Man Tin, Hung Hom, Tin Shui Wai and Tseung Kwan O. If the place matters, open the exit in our IP checker first. Lookups are often vague: on 3 November 2026 we took 40 addresses at random from the announced ranges of eight local networks, outside our gateway, and ipinfo.io gave just “Hong Kong” as the city for 29 of them.
APNIC Labs credits HKT’s Netvigator network with 17.51% of Hong Kong users and HKBN with 12.10%, and eight brands reach 58.38% between them. Residential and mobile exits come from homes and phones on these networks.

Users: APNIC Labs, 1 November 2026, 60-day window; China Mobile Hong Kong adds two ASNs, and its IPv6 figure is that of AS9231. IPv6: APNIC’s per-network table to 2 November 2026. Hosting, cloud and VPN networks fill much of the rest of APNIC’s Hong Kong list and are left out. China Mobile Hong Kong closed its offer for HKBN on 17 September 2025 with a 78.08% stake; APNIC still counts the two networks apart. An exit’s ASN names its network; network keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany.
OFCA counted 34,025,558 mobile subscriptions in June 2026, machine connections included. It lists five network operators and 26 virtual ones for September 2026 and prints no operator shares. The bars give each network’s share of users on APNIC’s list. Mobile exits run on these networks where the pool has them; the order page shows availability.
Subscriber counts: TelecomLead, 25 June 2025, citing GlobalData. Android ran 53.55% of Hong Kong mobile traffic in October 2026 and iOS 46.44% (StatCounter).

https://ipinfo.io/jsonDLA Piper’s overview of Hong Kong data law says the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) has applied since 1996 and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) oversees compliance. After a breach of the data protection principles, it says, the PCPD can issue an enforcement notice; ignoring one is an offence with a fine of up to HK$50,000 and up to two years in prison. Doxxing offences were added in October 2021.
The Law Reform Commission’s paper of 2022 quotes section 161 of the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200), on obtaining access to a computer with criminal or dishonest intent (up to five years in prison on indictment), and section 27A of the Telecommunications Ordinance (Cap. 106), on unauthorised access by telecommunications (a fine at level 4, then HK$25,000). The government’s legislation site would not open for us, so we know these ordinances only through those two texts, and neither sets a rule for proxy or VPN use. Official gambling policy restricts gambling to authorised outlets (Home and Youth Affairs Bureau), and gambling sites are not a supported use.

It sends your requests through a home or mobile connection in Hong Kong, so local sites answer as they would a visitor there. People use a Hong Kong IP address to check their own ads and prices, to collect public listings on Carousell or 28Hse, or to read google.com.hk results.
No per-country count is published for Hong Kong, so we quote none. Home connections are in the pool, mobile exits run on the four phone networks named above where the pool has them, and the order page shows availability before you buy.
Logins on this page pick Hong Kong as a whole, -cc-hk. The dashboard generator lists the districts on offer, where available. Confirm the place in our IP checker before relying on it, because databases place one address differently and ipinfo.io often prints only “Hong Kong”.
Homes and phones on the networks most people use: HKT, HKBN, HGC and HK Cable on fixed lines; China Mobile Hong Kong, csl, 3HK and SmarTone on phones. A login cannot pick one, as those keys are limited to the US, the UK and Germany; a lookup’s ASN shows which you have.
Registry and host names often differ from brands. HKCSL GPRS NETWORK is csl, Hutchison Telephone Company is 3HK, and HKBN addresses have ctinets.com host names. Six of 40 addresses from these networks’ ranges, looked up outside our gateway on 3 November 2026, came back as Tung Chung, five of them on phone networks, so read district names on mobile addresses with care.
Residential and mobile are the options for Hong Kong today; the order page lists the markets with static IPs. Rotating residential traffic suits listings, prices and search results. For app checks and mobile sites, pay $0.50 more per GB for mobile: phones produce 59.88% of Hong Kong page views.
On our pricing page. Residential runs from $3.49 per GB down to $1.69 at the largest volume, mobile from $3.99 to $2.19. Where the order page lists static IPs, ISP is $4.00 and datacenter $2.00 per IP per month. Traffic never expires, and the same page shows the present terms of the free trial.
DLA Piper’s overview and the Law Reform Commission’s paper, the texts we read, set no rule for proxy or VPN use, and we could not open the ordinances themselves. Section 161 of the Crimes Ordinance and section 27A of the Telecommunications Ordinance cover computer access, and Cap. 486 covers any personal data you collect. Not legal advice.
Whoever runs a free proxy can read what passes through it, and you rarely learn who that is. Hosting names such as Zenlayer, Amazon and Datacamp also appear on APNIC’s Hong Kong list. A lookup showing one of those means a server, while HKT, HKBN or 3HK means a local line.
Enter gate.aeonproxy.com, port 7000, username ap_a1b2c3-cc-hk and your password in a browser extension, an app or an HTTP client. Append -sid-hk01-time-7200 to the username to keep one exit for two hours. SOCKS5 and code samples are in the docs.
