Argentina’s most visited shopping site: what each listing charges in pesos, who sells it and the shipping offered.
118K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, on Telecom, Telecentro, Movistar, Claro and a long tail of cooperatives. Per GB, residential starts at $1.69 and mobile at $2.19. Use -cc-ar for the country, then a key for the capital, a province or, where available, a city.
Argentine household connections in the pool, October 2026.
Forty exits drawn on 27 October 2026 came from 27 cities and towns in 10 regions, counting the capital as one.
ipinfo.io placed 22 of 24 province requests where asked; for cities the count was 17 of 24.
Add a session key and the same Argentine exit stays with you for up to an hour; without it, each request rotates.

Mercado Libre heads Similarweb’s September 2026 shopping ranking for Argentina, followed by Temu, Frávega, Farmacity and Coto, and its car listings top the vehicles category. Among all sites it is seventh, after Google, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and the news site Infobae; mercadopago.com.ar is fifteenth.
Supermarket prices also have an official source: the Ministry of Economy’s open SEPA database, the data behind Precios Claros, publishes about 12 million prices a day.
StatCounter counted 56.51% of Argentine page views on phones in September 2026 (desktop 42.99%), and Android ran 87.37% of the mobile ones. Google handled 93.82% of searches, Bing 4.71%.
Geolocation data splits the capital from the province around it: the city is “Buenos Aires F.D.”, key -st-buenosairesfd, and the province is “Buenos Aires”, key -st-buenosaires. Other province keys: cordoba, santafe and mendoza.
| Place | Region as ipinfo.io names it | Counted by the census as | Population, 2022 | Keys |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buenos Aires | Buenos Aires F.D. | Autonomous city | 3,121,707 | -st-buenosairesfd -city-buenosaires |
| Greater Buenos Aires | Buenos Aires | 31 partidos of the province | 11,981,145 | -st-buenosaires |
| Córdoba | Cordoba | Capital department | 1,505,250 | -st-cordoba -city-cordoba |
| Rosario | Santa Fe | Rosario department | 1,348,725 | -st-santafe -city-rosario |

| Mar del Plata | Buenos Aires | General Pueyrredón partido | 667,082 | -city-mardelplata |
| Mendoza | Mendoza | Capital department | 127,160 | -st-mendoza -city-mendoza |
Population: INDEC, Censo 2022, which reports departments and partidos; Greater Mendoza also takes in Guaymallén, Las Heras, Maipú and Godoy Cruz. Of the 40 exits in our 27 October 2026 sample, ipinfo.io placed 17 in Buenos Aires province (Laferrere had 3) and 11 in the capital, then two each in Santa Fe, Formosa, Mendoza and Córdoba and the rest in four other provinces. Province test: one province request landed in the capital, one capital request in Mendoza. City test: four Mendoza requests were placed in Neuquén, two Rosario requests in San Lorenzo and Buenos Aires, one Buenos Aires request in Villa La Angostura.
INDEC counted 51,387,137 internet accesses in June 2026, 39,471,960 of them mobile and 11,915,177 fixed; each bar is a province’s share of that total. Almost half are in Buenos Aires province and the capital.
Fixed accesses grew 9.0% in a year, fastest in San Luis (26.4%), Santa Cruz and Chubut. Providers with fewer than 30,000 accesses served 6.8% of fixed lines, 812,804 of them. In our sample, 13 of the 40 exits came from networks that supplied a single exit each.
Telecom’s AS7303 carries both phones and home lines, with Personal on mobile and Fibertel host names on fixed connections, and reaches 28.2% of users on its own. Since February 2025 Telecom also owns Movistar, which adds 12.7%. Claro appears in the registry under the company name Techtel LMDS.
| Network | Access | ASN | Share of Argentine users | IPv6 | In our sample |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Telecom (Personal, Fibertel) | Fixed and mobile | AS7303 | 28.2% | 21.3% | 9 |

| ARSAT | State-owned network | AS52361 | 1.3% | 0.2% | 1 |
| Cable Televisora Color | Cable | AS52436 | 0.6% | 0.1% | 1 |
Share of users: APNIC Labs, 25 October 2026; IPv6-capable share: APNIC’s Argentina table. In the sample column, the 40 exits of 27 October 2026 are counted as ipinfo.io placed them; the counts do not scale to the pool. The other ten exits came from one-exit networks, most of them cooperatives and small local ISPs such as Cooperativa de Trabajo Lara, the La Para cooperative and Refsa.
Argentina’s most visited shopping site: what each listing charges in pesos, who sells it and the shipping offered.
The top vehicles site. Asking prices by model and year.
Frávega, Farmacity and Coto rank third to fifth among shopping sites. Follow their catalogue prices and promotions.
The two most visited property sites. Rents and sale prices by barrio in the capital, by city elsewhere.
Third and fourth among job sites, after Computrabajo and HiringRoom. Vacancies and advertised pay by province.
Third and fifth in travel, with JetSMART fourth. Fares in pesos as an Argentine visitor gets them.
The SEPA open database with about 12 million daily prices. Download it before you scrape store sites for the same goods.
Rankings with gl=ar and hl=es from an Argentine exit, plus Bing for its 4.71%. SERP setup.
Rankings: Similarweb, September 2026. Stay on what a logged-out visitor can see, within each site’s terms; a file of sellers’ or landlords’ names would fall under the AAIP’s register.
Send the region and city keys, then compare the answer with ipinfo.io’s own spelling: “Buenos Aires F.D.” for the capital, “Cordoba” without an accent for the province, “Córdoba” with one for the city.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonTelecom has owned Movistar since February 2025, but the two still run separate ASNs under their old registry names. The divestments ordered in June 2026 are due within 18 months; until then, read the ASN of each mobile exit.
Telefónica sells its 99.999625% of Telefónica Móviles Argentina to Telecom Argentina for USD 1,245 million, signing and closing on the same day.
The competition tribunal of the ANC finds the deal would leave two mobile operators, Claro with 42% and the merged company with 58%, and imposes remedies under Law 27.442.
Personal and Movistar still run as AS7303 and AS22927, together 40.8% of Argentine users in APNIC’s data; ipinfo.io still labels the second one Telefonica de Argentina.
Telecom must transfer 6,000,000 active mobile customers, 4,000,000 of them in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, with the spectrum to serve them, and sell 211,400 Movistar fixed subscribers in 28 localities.
Ley 25.326 of 2000 governs personal data, and the AAIP (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública) enforces it. Article 5 waives consent for data from sources open to the public without restriction, but article 3 makes a file of personal data lawful only once it is registered, and the AAIP keeps that register. It covers files and databases that hold information about people, which can include a list of names and phone numbers copied from public pages.
Argentina has no rule on proxies or VPNs as such that we could find. In April 2026 ENACOM had internet providers block 251 unlicensed betting platforms on an order from San Isidro prosecutors, and we do not support using our proxies to reach sites like these.

It sends your requests out through an address in Argentina, and sites answer as if a local had asked. That is how you read Mercado Libre or Frávega prices in pesos, follow Zonaprop listings or test the Argentine versions of your own pages and ads.
118K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. There is no published count of Argentine mobile IPs; of 12 mobile exits we sampled on 27 October 2026, ten were on Telecom’s network and one each on Movistar and Claro.
Yes, by province and, where available, by city. Province keys: -st-buenosairesfd (the capital), -st-buenosaires (the province), -st-cordoba, -st-santafe, -st-mendoza. City keys: -city-buenosaires, -city-cordoba, -city-rosario, -city-mendoza, -city-laplata, -city-mardelplata. On 27 October 2026, ipinfo.io placed 22 of 24 province requests (92%) and 17 of 24 city requests (71%) where asked. Postcode targeting is not offered.
They are two regions. buenosairesfd is the autonomous city, 3.1 million people, which geolocation data calls Buenos Aires F.D. buenosaires is the province around it, including the 31 partidos of Greater Buenos Aires, La Plata and Mar del Plata. For an exit in the capital itself, use -st-buenosairesfd with -city-buenosaires.
In our test, four of the seven city misses were Mendoza requests that ipinfo.io placed in Neuquén, a neighbouring province. Geolocation databases disagree at city level, so a miss is not proof the exit sits elsewhere, but check the region field and retry with a new session key when it does not say Mendoza.
Our 27 October 2026 sample of 40 exits had Telecom 9, Telecentro 8, Movistar 4, Claro and Starlink 3 each, and one exit apiece from Gigared, ARSAT and Cable Televisora Color. Ten more networks supplied a single exit each, most of them cooperatives and small ISPs.
No. Carrier and ISP keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany. Check the ASN of each Argentine exit instead (AS7303 for Telecom and Personal, AS22927 for Movistar, AS11664 for Claro) and start a new session when it is the wrong one.
Use rotating residential exits for catalogue and listing work on Mercado Libre, Coto or Zonaprop. Mobile exits, ten of twelve on Telecom’s network in our sample, are for app and mobile-ad checks. Rent an ISP proxy when your own logged-in accounts need one static address.
Proxies as such are not regulated by any Argentine rule we found. Ley 25.326 applies to personal data whatever its source, and a database of people has to be registered with the AAIP. This is not legal advice.
Treat them as unsafe. Whoever runs a free proxy can log, read or rewrite your traffic, and you have no way to find out who that is. Check the network of any address you try and never pass a login or a cookie through it.
