Angolan searches lead to Portuguese-language sites from three countries. In Ahrefs’ October 2026 ranking of sites by estimated search traffic in Angola, Brazil’s globo.com is 17th and uol.com.br 27th, Portugal’s abola.pt 38th and sapo.pt 65th, and the Angolan portals angocasa.com and angocarro.com come 72nd and 75th.
Only foreign stores appear in that list’s shopping category: AliExpress (43rd), Shein (71st), eBay (81st) and Brazil’s Mercado Livre (90th). Angolan listings are priced in kwanzas, which AngoCasa and AngoCarro write as “Akz”.
StatCounter’s September 2026 figures give Google 92.58% of Angolan searches and 99.01% of those made on phones, while on desktops Bing took 17.15%. SERP proxies explains rank tracking on Google and Bing.
Angola had 36,604,681 people on 19 September 2024, census day, spread over 21 provinces, and one in four lives in Luanda province. Logins name only the country, -cc-ao; the provinces and cities you can get are shown in the dashboard generator.
Population: INE, Censo 2024, definitive results; shares worked out from INE’s province tables. Exits, where available, also come from Talatona, Belas, Malanje, Soyo, Menongue, Ondjiva, Lucapa and Cameia. When we looked up 48 addresses announced by six Angolan networks on ipinfo.io on 31 October 2026, 46 came back in Luanda province, so check the town of any exit in our IP checker before you rely on it.

Users: APNIC Labs, 29 October 2026; its 48 Angolan rows add up to 127.58%, so the shares overlap and each stands alone. IPv6: APNIC, to 30 October 2026. INACOM shares are of 28,400,525 mobile or 147,221 fixed broadband subscriptions at the end of 2025; the three mobile shares add up to 100.94% as printed. Satellite, hosting, bank and oil-company networks are not listed. Lookups identify the network by ASN, and host names ending in zapfibra.co.ao or tvcabo.ao mark ZAP and TV Cabo lines; ISP and carrier targeting exists only in the US, the UK and Germany.

Each session lasts an hour under -cc-ao. The script rejects any exit whose lookup country is not AO, since most Paratus address blocks look up outside Angola. It labels the rest with a network name from the ASN and a province name in INE’s spelling.

https://ipinfo.io/jsonAngola redrew its provinces in 2024. Official statistics follow the new map, many site menus keep the old one, and geolocation databases mix old and new names.
The law on Angola’s new political-administrative division is published in the Diário da República, repealing the 2016 law.
INE counts 21 provinces, among them Icolo e Bengo (1,372,670 people), formed from parts of Luanda and Bengo, and Cuando (138,770).
INACOM’s 2025 report splits mobile subscriptions across the 21 provinces, with 13,256,245 in Luanda, about 46.68% of the total.
Jobartis and AngoCasa list the older 18, Cuando Cubango as one; AngoCasa writes Kwanza-Sul and Malange and files Ícolo e Bengo under Luanda.
GeoNames lists Cuando, Cubango, Icolo e Bengo and Moxico Leste beside the older names and spells Lunda Norte as “Luanda Norte”.
Lei n.º 22/11 of 17 June 2011 governs personal data under the Agência de Protecção de Dados (APD). Processing needs prior notification to the APD or its authorisation (article 35), and data sent to a country without adequate protection needs its authorisation (article 34). Fines are set as the kwanza equivalent of dollar amounts, USD 75,000 to USD 150,000 for breaches such as a negligent failure to notify (article 51). Leave advertisers’ names and phone numbers out of what you take from Angolan listings: they are personal data under this law.
Under article 438 of the Penal Code (Lei n.º 38/20), entering an information system without authorisation is punished with prison of up to two years or a fine of up to 240 days, rising to two to eight years when security rules are broken or the service is protected. Lei n.º 9/26 on cybersecurity, promulgated on 8 September 2026, gives operators of critical infrastructure and providers of digital, cloud and data-centre services security and incident-reporting duties. Neither law, nor any other Angolan text we read, asks users of a proxy or VPN to register or hold a licence, and none forbids it.

An address on an Angolan network stands in for yours, so a site shows you what it shows people in Angola. Use one to read AngoCasa and AngoCarro listings in kwanzas, follow Jobartis vacancies, see what AliExpress or Mercado Livre quote an Angolan buyer and check google.co.ao results in Portuguese.
34K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026, a figure that rises and falls as connections come and go. There is no separate figure for phones; mobile exits run on Unitel, Africell and Movicel where the pool has them, and the order page lists current stock.
Logins choose Angola as a whole with -cc-ao; provinces and cities, where on offer, are listed in the dashboard generator. Database names such as “Kwanza Sul” differ from INE’s spelling, and the Python tab maps them. Lookups place many Angolan addresses in Luanda, so test the town of an exit with our IP checker before you depend on it.
Angolan homes and phones on Unitel and Africell, which APNIC credits with 69.13% and 28.13% of users, and on the fixed networks of ZAP Fibra, TV Cabo, Paratus and Angola Telecom. A lookup gives the ASN: AS37119 for Unitel, AS328943 for Africell, AS37645 for ZAP Fibra, AS36907 for TV Cabo.
Paratus (AS33763, Paratus Telecommunications Limited) announces address blocks that lookups place outside Angola as well. We looked up one address from each of the 33 blocks it announces on ipinfo.io on 31 October 2026: 6 were placed in Angola, 18 in Namibia, 4 in South Africa and the other 5 in Mozambique, Rwanda, DR Congo and Zambia. Use an exit only if its country field says AO.
Lei n.º 14/24 of 5 September 2024 created 21 provinces, among them Icolo e Bengo and Moxico Leste, and INE and INACOM publish by that map. Jobartis and AngoCasa still offer the older 18, so match names before you join site data to official figures.
For listings, prices and search, rotate residential exits. Mobile exits suit app tests and mobile pages; 81.82% of Angolan mobile traffic came from Android in September 2026. Rent an ISP proxy when your own accounts need a fixed Angolan address, within each platform’s rules; the order page lists current stock.
No Angolan text we read, the 2026 cybersecurity law included, bans proxies or VPNs or makes their users register or obtain a licence. Article 438 of the Penal Code makes unauthorised entry into an information system a crime, and Lei n.º 22/11 and the APD cover personal data. Not legal advice.
Whoever runs a free proxy is a stranger to you and can copy everything you send through it, logins included. In a lookup a real Angolan line shows Unitel, Africell, Finstar, TV Cabo or Angola Telecom with the country AO; a hosting or cloud company in that field means a data-centre machine.
The proxy host is gate.aeonproxy.com and the HTTP port 7000; the user name is ap_a1b2c3-cc-ao, followed by your password, in whatever extension, scraper or library you use. -sid-lad01-time-21600 after the country key holds the same exit for six hours. For SOCKS5 read the docs; free trial terms are on the pricing page.
Send the query from an Angolan exit with gl=ao and hl=pt. Brazilian and Portuguese sites such as globo.com and sapo.pt rank 17th and 65th among the sites Angolans reach from search, so expect them beside Angolan pages.
