Why Slovakia

Bazoš, Heureka and Allegro lead Slovak e-commerce

Domestic sites lead what Slovaks open. In Similarweb’s September 2026 ranking of all sites visited from Slovakia, the classifieds site Bazoš is 7th, the retailer Alza 12th, the job board Profesia 21st, the comparison site Heureka 26th and the marketplace Allegro 36th. Its e-commerce list puts Bazoš first, Heureka second and Allegro third.

Prices on Slovak sites are in euros. Property portals add the price per square metre: on 31 October 2026 Nehnuteľnosti.sk featured a three-room flat in Bratislava-Dúbravka at €319,000, or €4,037.97 per m².

On Slovak desktops Bing had 9.45% of searches in September 2026, against 3.39% across all devices; Google had 95.37% overall and 98.84% on phones (StatCounter). Phones produced 58.95% of page views that month, and Android ran 75.38% of mobile traffic. The SERP proxies page covers rank tracking on both engines.

Coverage

Bratislava, Košice, Prešov and the largest Slovak towns

Slovakia had 5,409,407 people at the end of 2025, in eight self-governing regions of 562,536 to 810,075 people. A Slovak login sets the country, -cc-sk, and the dashboard generator lists the regions and cities it can offer.

Population: estimates of the Statistical Office (ŠÚ SR) for 31 December 2025. Where available, exits come from all eight regions and from towns such as Piešťany, Liptovský Mikuláš, Michalovce and Komárno. One address can sit in different towns in different geolocation databases, so open each exit in our IP checker before you trust its town.

Networks

Telekom, Orange and O2 first, then SWAN, UPC and regional ISPs

Slovak Telekom’s network reaches 36.95% of Slovak internet users in APNIC Labs’ estimate, Orange’s 18.88% and O2’s 9.93%, 65.76% together. SWAN, the company behind the 4ka mobile brand, and UPC follow at about 5% each; ANTIK in Košice, Energotel and Slovanet lead some 150 smaller networks.

IPv6: APNIC, to 30 October 2026, when 13.92% of Slovak users were IPv6-capable. Mobile ranks by active SIM cards: RÚ annual report for 2025. In the operators’ own figures for the third quarter of 2025, O2 had 2.37 million SIM cards in use, Orange 2.358 million and Telekom 2.314 million, and 4ka had nearly 670,000 mobile customers in June 2025. Slovak logins cannot choose a network (ISP and carrier keys cover the US, the UK and Germany only); the ASN shows which one an exit is on.

For developers

A Košice Region exit, with the country checked first

The login holds -cc-sk and a 30-minute session. Exits that a lookup places outside Slovakia are dropped; the first one in the region you pass is kept, and its network is shown by brand.

import requests, uuid
GATE = "gate.aeonproxy.com:7000"
# The login names the country only. Regions come back in their GeoNames form:
# "Bratislava Region", "Košice Region", "Prešov Region", "Žilina Region"
BRAND = {"AS6855": "Slovak Telekom", "AS15962": "Orange", "AS28952": "O2",
         "AS5578": "SWAN (4ka)", "AS6830": "UPC", "AS42841": "ANTIK"}

def slovak_exit(region=None, tries=8):
    for _ in range(tries):
        sid = uuid.uuid4().hex[:8]
        proxy = f"http://ap_a1b2c3-cc-sk-sid-{sid}-time-1800:PASS@{GATE}"
        try:
            geo = requests.get("https://ipinfo.io/json", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=15).json()
        except requests.RequestException:
            continue # no reply: open the next session
        if geo.get("country") != "SK":
            continue # a few Slovak ranges geolocate to Czechia
        if region is None or geo.get("region") == region:
            return proxy, geo # the same exit for 30 minutes
    return None, None

proxy, geo = slovak_exit("Košice Region")
if proxy:
    asn = geo.get("org", "").split(" ")[0]   # "AS42841 ANTIK Telecom s.r.o" -> "AS42841"
    print(geo["ip"], geo.get("city"), BRAND.get(asn, geo.get("org")))

For the capital, pass "Bratislava Region". -time- takes seconds from 60 to 21600; leave -sid- out and the exit changes with each request. ISP and carrier keys work only in the US, the UK and Germany, which is why the script reads the brand from the ASN: lookups print O2 Business Services for O2 and Liberty Global for UPC.

A Slovak quirk

Before you compare Slovak prices across 2025

Data protection, computer crime and the Slovak gambling list

Slovakia applies the GDPR with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection, in force since 25 May 2018; the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov) supervises both. Sellers’ names and phone numbers in Bazoš or Nehnuteľnosti ads are personal data even on a public page. Leave them out and keep prices, counts and rankings.

Section 247 of the Criminal Code (Act No. 300/2005 Coll.) punishes overcoming a security measure to gain unauthorised access to a computer system with up to two years in prison. Online gambling without a Slovak licence is a prohibited offer under the Gambling Act (No. 30/2019 Coll.): the regulator ÚRHH publishes a weekly list of such websites, and providers must block them within five days. The act also treats encouraging the use of tools that reach such sites despite geo-blocking or providers’ blocks as a prohibited offer, and using AeonProxy to reach listed sites is not supported. We found no registration, licence or ban for proxy or VPN use in the acts we read.

Slovakia proxy questions

One that sends your traffic out through a Slovak home or mobile line, so sites show what they show people in Slovakia: euro prices on Alza and Heureka, Bazoš and Nehnuteľnosti listings, google.sk results. Shops also use one to look at their own Slovak pages from inside the country.

26K+ residential IPs in the pool, October 2026. Home connections join and leave the pool, so the total moves. Mobile IPs are not counted separately; mobile exits run on O2, Orange, Telekom and 4ka where the pool has them, with current availability on the order page.

The logins on this page use the country key, -cc-sk; check the dashboard generator for Slovak regions and cities, where available. To stay in one region, filter on the region a lookup returns; the Python tab does this for Košice Region. Databases disagree about towns, so confirm the town of an exit in our IP checker.

Slovak homes and phones on Slovak Telekom, Orange and O2, which APNIC credits with 65.76% of Slovak internet users, then SWAN (4ka), UPC and regional ISPs such as ANTIK, Energotel, Slovanet and DSI DATA. A Slovak login cannot pick one of them, as network keys exist only for the US, the UK and Germany; tell them apart by ASN.

O2’s network, AS28952, is registered to O2 Business Services, a.s, and lookups print the registered holder; its hostnames end in o2inet.sk. UPC appears as Liberty Global Europe Holding B.V. on AS6830, with chello.sk hostnames, and SWAN, the company behind 4ka, as SWAN, a.s. on AS5578.

For Bazoš, Heureka, property prices and search results, use residential exits on rotation. Mobile exits cost $0.50 more per GB and fit app tests and mobile pages; 75.38% of Slovak phone traffic came from Android in September 2026. An ISP proxy keeps one static Slovak address for as long as you rent it, for your own accounts within platform rules; stock is listed on the order page.

In the Slovak acts we read, proxy and VPN use needs no registration or licence and is not banned. Breaking a security measure to enter a computer system is a crime under § 247 of the Criminal Code, and personal data falls under the GDPR and Act No. 18/2018. Providers block the unlicensed gambling sites on the ÚRHH list, and reaching them through AeonProxy is not supported. Not legal advice.

Anyone can run a free proxy, and the person who does can read and keep the traffic you send through it, passwords included. In a lookup, a Slovak home line shows a network such as AS6855, AS15962, AS28952 or AS5578; a hosting company in that field means a server.

The host is gate.aeonproxy.com, the port 7000 and the username ap_a1b2c3-cc-sk, with your password; any browser extension, app or HTTP library that takes an HTTP proxy accepts them. A session part such as -sid-ba01-time-3600 keeps one exit for an hour. SOCKS5 is in the docs, and the pricing page has the current terms of the free trial.

Standard VAT went from 20% to 23% on 1 January 2025, a reduced 19% rate now applies to food other than basic foods and to electricity, and the 5% rate stayed. When you compare prices that include VAT across that date, allow for the change.
